it has to be a record, the number of first shots first goals, never seen anything like it this season.

If Paps continues to not address the goal tending issues on this team then what is he getting paid for. DO YOUR JOB, think of the players and coaching staff.

Goaltending, powerplay, penalty kill, first minute of periods, discipline. Can't trade the entire team. They definitely need changes...

So disorganized…. It seems every team we play moves the puck better than us. Do these guys practice anything???
Our style of play is not working. Low percentage 20-40 foot passes all over the ice. No puck support to be found anywhere. Our pass completion rate is about the same as our PP success rate. Gap between 3 high forwards and backing D is to massive. We rarely start a break out with forward support behind the puck. You can’t skill your way to a championship. Your skill MUST support each other with 6-10 ft passes and play responsible in all three zones. Slot continues to be problem in DZone. We have found success on net drives and bringing the puck to the net.

Just wondering when Paps will pull the trigger. Not sure why he always waits for the deadline. DeAngelios has been the only deal on all in year. Not much pieces in place.

It's a Christmas Miracle, a power play goal.

Looked like it was off Smith's stick, so technically, a wolves player has still not put a puck into the net on a powerplay.

Goyette.... How do you miss an empty net like that? Come the hell on.

This team, lol....

What this season is going to sadly prove for Wolves fans, is that you just can’t get some old guy that has been in the organization forever to be an OHL coach. You need to hire someone who understands modern hockey.
It would be one thing fi they were trying to adjust but they just keep doing the same thing over and over and over and over. Cant' teach an old wolf new tricks I guess.

I have to admit this will be a wasted season. This group is not going to win you a championship. From behind the bench to goaltending to defence to the depth up front. If they had a PP they would have won 4 extra games.

Do the Petes announcers not watch hockey typically? Only explanation I can find to how little they understand about hockey.

Owen Beck finally getting called with the dive on his fifth dive of the night. Guy make the WJC squad last year, going for the Canadian diving team this year I guess.

Petes announcer logic; Petes player got a 5-minute major earlier, so they should have to give a 5 to Sudbury now.

Dumping and chasing when you have 0 forecheck presence might be the most fascinating decision made consistently by the Wolves. They just give up possession for free, constantly.

This team gets what it deserves. Out coached yet again.

That must have been the genius call they drew up during the timeout.

The worst thing that happened this weekend is the 9-2 win. Took all the pressure off the organization to do the right thing. Fire the coach.

Bad bench management. Who is the forward coach oh my goodness. That was the worst drawn up plan. In addition that line was out for over three minutes. Pharand who worked the boards well last night was not on the ice. We were not heavy enough. This team has so many glaring issues. No excuses for the bench management to allow a line to play for over 3 minutes of the game. Delic, Walton, Coughlan, Pharand no where to be found. McCallum was put in situations tonight and didn’t deserve to. Was lazy most of the night. What are these coaches watching?

Pete Dalliday and Scott Arnold are considered two one of the best broadcasters in the OHL. They are totally impartial. That was a slewfoot by Landon McCallum on Jonathan Melee.

Pretty frustrating to watch. Lines were put in a blender for much of the night excluding the GDM line.Delic limited time. Should be at center. The fourth line limited to no time considering they were productive in the Shwa. Ride the GDM line till you die seems to be the strategy especially when you are chasing the game.
