I’m just slightly concerned about how fast he’s able to process the game. He’s looked a bit slow to make decisions especially on smaller ice. He doesn’t work all that well under pressure and sometimes struggles with finding solutions making him throw the puck away. If he can overcome that I see him as a future top 4.He is tracking to become a defensive shutdown top 4 defenseman. Defenseman with size, skating, physicality, and IQ/awareness almost always project to be top 4 defenseman. If any one these traits are lacking, then simply put, they’re not.
Not many 18 year olds are trusted to be a defensive specialist at the SHL level. When an 18 year old kid is the toughest, most physical player on the ice against men, there’s a lot more underneath.
