Switched over to Knights/Rangers game after the Wolves/Troops. Enjoyed the play by play guy there. Did not feel like a 'homer' and his voice and style were, dare I say, 'Foster Hewitt-ish'. First OHL announcer I have enjoyed in a while.
Agreed. He's very good

Despite still being in the playoffs, I'm very excited for the draft, the draft, rookie camp and training camp are always my three favorite events of the OHL calendar. Get to see a bit of what the future of the team will look like, especially since the top 3 picks will likely have some good chances at ice time immediately next season.

Too many no shows, too many missed chances and a stellar game by McIvor. Davorskys worse game in a Wolves jersey. Did he win one faceoff aganist Wakley? All this aganist a somewhat depleted North Bay team.

Be careful what you wish for
He’s not the only one wishing. Your hero Vandenberg was brutal on the last two goals. Was right behind him.

How about the big saves he made to keep us in it or did you go for a popcorn on those saves?
Yeah yeah he’s Ken Dryden. Can t give up any garbage goals. Whatever you say there Billy. Not worth the effort to type a response. I suppose you don’t think we were out goaltended. Give me a break.

I think Blonda is a bit off the board, but a skilled d-man. Going to make some big plays, but going to be a common victim to complaints by certain posters in this thread. Definitely going to add some great skating to the blueline, excited to see him going forward!

With the top 2 Dmen in this draft Croskery and Nyman committed elsewhere, Blonda was the best available Dman left, IMO.
Honestly, kind of expected to see a first round with no d-men drafted, knew it was unlikely but it's definitely a stronger forward group.

Thanks for posting his highlights! Seems like he's excited to get to work.

I like the pick a lot. Sudburys Power Play has been elite this season and this will only help.

Wolves need to capitalize with their 2nd rounder.. very important pick coming up
Have to assume they either go forward or goaltender. Jackson and Blonda give them two high potential d-men going forward, other positions need some love.

From the stream: Ethan Dean - "Might be the best skater in the draft, might not put up numbers but will be in on the forecheck"

Not sure why Weston Cameron has not been picked yet! 6'3 centre. Maybe he is too much like Walton.

Wolves need some size like 6'1 forward. One that stirs the drink. A couple are out there. Was hoping Stevens from Ottawa but Guelph took him right before.
