I don't have to say it again but I will Papineau needs to get another body or two through trade, or by waivers through the WHL to get these guys motivated. New blood is required. How long do Sudbury fans have to suffer through dismal hockey.

Awful just awful defensive zone coverage and the inability to clear the puck has cost us numerous times.

The 15th ranked player!
This management continues to ride with Musty and it needs to stop!!!

No consistency of the lines is mind blowing. Keep Goyette/Delic/Konyen together. DeGrazia with Larmand and McCallum. Blend all the other guys. Its very unfortunate what's happening to players here because they are catering to Musty!

Anyone know why Assadourian wasn't in the line up tonight?

Ranger needs to be better. He's been struggling as of late and has been just average.

With Hamilton losing and getting a point at least we're out of the cellar.

Wow, this one is disappointing. The script was written for a comeback win. A ton of shots and unbelievable chances. Despite the lack finish hard to say the team isn’t somewhat snake bitten right now. This game was case study in how not to play defence, by both teams. Hope they can find some kind of structure. Ultimately their goalie stole it. Look at the shots. Not to rag on Ranger but we needed a save on the 2-1.
Good crowd, good atmosphere, just the wrong ending. One positive is the fact they got a point after trailing by two in the third. Not any easier Sunday. I expect some semblance of structure by next week.
Finally got an anthem singer, awesome. Also thought the 50 yr celebration was classy. Great to see some of the old faces though I had to wonder how many fans actually knew who most of them were.

Agree about Ranger. Why was Walton not given a shot in the OT? Needs to play more.

McCullum continues to be the spark on this team. Say what you want about him but when I watch him his energy and speed and willingness to get into the dirty area’s is second to none. I am not the only one who sees this as his ice time dictates my thoughts.

I agree he has played better and stopped on the most part on his antics, more discipline. Needs contribute more on the scoring department.

Sure but can’t handle the puck on his stick ver well. But yes he adds an element the team requires but we still need another scorer.

I agree Delic should be on the line that did well with Goyette, Konyen.

Throw Musty on another line in the top 6. Maybe with Walton, Pharand

Delic gets things going and creates opportunities, shouldn't be on a third line, hopefully team comes to their senses put that line together for a bit and see what they can do.

At this point not really any real opportunities to keep that line together.

If Goyette, Delic, Konyen, Musty, Pharrand & Walton there is not a single 19-20 yr old in the top six. You can’t possibly fault coaches with the wolves’ record.

I see why they tried to keep Musty with Goyette on the top line, but this has run it's course - let's get that Delic/Goyette/Konyen line back together and keep it that way for a good while.

McCallum has been noticeably better as of recently - I hope this continues. But he should not be deployed in the top 6 F and not on the power play either. He is a serviceable bottom 6 forward with how he has been playing lately. The first 10 games this season he was incredibly detrimental to the team.

McCallum has stone hands. If he receives the puck in a grade A scoring chance he either fumbles it or gets off a weak shot. His worth on this team is as a bottom 6 energy producing pk player.

The Hate for Mccallum on this forum is laughable. He has been one of the best forwards the last few games. The team as a whole stinks right now. It’s tough to watch. We should be happy the kids game has improved. Wolves need any kind of positives to help get them back in the win column. Going to be a long season.

Agree. McCallum’s discipline has always been the issue. He skates a very thin grey line between an aggressive instigator and a penalized detriment. The Refs know his rep/style of play. Minus the unselfish slash against the Soo that cost him the remainder of the third period he has played much better. The kid has great vision and sees the play different than most. Better play maker than scorer IMO. At this point, an OA we’d keep for next year..

He has the reputation of a rat and boy every team would love one. He knows how to get under your skin just has to be aware that the refs are well aware of him. Oh and tied for third in team scoring.
