Please be respectful…if it was easy we would all line up to apply but I’m guessing none of us evaluators/critics would ever get a chance. We are fans who think we know everything, but truly we don’t. Some people just can’t help themselves. Either they are just old and grumpy or internet tough guys that’s only outlet is to belittle people while hiding behind a computer screen. Sad really

Sad to see someone loose a job, however the change needed to be made.
If they want to have a legitimate process they could not give it to Dorval as an interim. Other potential candidates would seethe process as a sham. I also think it will be difficult to claim it was an open process if Dorval gets the job.

Derek-obvious choice. NHL pedigree,proven respect as anNHL captain despite being a 4th liner
Bob Jones-proven at ohl level. Not sure of his health these days
Moxam- i think must have been a good teacher, Thompson, Phillips, Ross all grew under his guidance
Boughner -proven at OHL With some NHL pedigree
Jordan Smith- similar comments as moxa.
I think likely we will hear something during the homestead or if not could be a while
Lastly bud stefanski as a stopgap although with family all gone not likely

Zulich will give him a couple of gift cards from Overtime, a times card with 3.73$ left on it, and a gift certificate to the LU Hockey merch shop and call it a day.

You’re a real prize. Just about all of us wanted change but have respect for a man that’s tried and lost his job. He didn’t coerce Papineau into hiring him. You want to blame someone blame him and how about to his face rather than behind your keyboard. II’m sure you’d like it if people lined up and cheered if your ass was canned. Nice to read an intelligent post that’s sticks to hockey without kicking someone when they’re down. You raise some interesting points.
About the news,I’m not surprised, as I said Zulich looked like he’d had enough last Sunday. 7 straight home games, how many you figure we need to win? Its now or never to stop the slide, I’m thinking at least 5?
