Very interesting…. After a very good pre season something has ticked him off. Maybe his 4th line minutes. Never understood why we didn’t make a move prior to the season it was evident we had to many bodies. Then signing Mauro was weird.

I think Derbidge seen the writing on the wall. Unfortunate because he has been really the only player up front that has both skill and a physical edge to him. Just hasn’t had consistent ice or definitive role from the coaches.

With that being said what do they now do with him and the log jam on the backend with Collins and Chromiak coming in? I can’t seem the sitting Anania, Holmes, Mania, Collins, Chromiak, Toure. Has to be Bishop as the 7th guy and Robinson being released or traded.

Derbidge has a lot more room for growth than Mauro let’s be honest. A kid I think would with more ice grow into a. pretty solid player. Not making a difference tag can be used on DeGrazia, Assadourian, Robinson and a couple of others. Not a fair assessment imo.

Let’s hope a deal can be made and that we get fair value for him.

Bishop plays somewhere for now to get more minutes

Robinson clock probably ticking. But if injuries on back end delays some things from happening



Michael Derbidge feels he deserves more ice. Probably 3rd line. Not happening. Walton sees more ice atm.

My guess anyway
 
This team does not deseve Joe Ranger...

Duncanson cost them this game by being too stupid to put a player in the box too serve ananias penalty. Forced them to kill off an extra minute plus the additional delay of game it caused. Throwing McCallum out there every second shift. Playing only two and a half lines for most of the game. A master class in incompetence.

Mccallum actually had a good game I thought. But totally agree with the incompetence part. PP1 was gassed in Ot. Musty cost them the game. You could see that goal coming a mile away. Mix some other guys in Dunc. It’s not working

This team could be so good but the coaching ruined them, feel bad for the players and it blows my mind how this guys hasn't been fired yet.

Wolves deserved a better fate, very exciting game. I still don't get the McCallum on the PP, he's a checker and pk guy, not a scorer. I felt the coaching really shorten their bench especially last 5 minutes of third and OT. There was alot of fresh legs on the bench raring to go. During OT missed great opportunity to win game being on the PP, Goyette line was gassed in OT. I would like to see some other guys in the mix there, I would have Collins over Robinson at the point for the second unit PP. I would even like to see Toure used in some PP opportunities. Wolves killed a lot big penalties in the third that was encouraging. Ranger played a great game, he's fun to watch and I like his compete. Chromiak looked good to me for the limited time I saw him play, skates well, smart plays, looks to be a good one.

Villeneuve and Walton were playing great but they got tossed out of the lineup the second half of the game, ridiculous. While McCallum was not bad, the amount of plays that died on his stick were hilarious. He got lucky not to get a few diving calls as well.

Wolves have figured out two first lines that work, Delic - Goyette - Konyen and Musty - Goyette - Delic. There's no need to break them up, use one of them.

Robinson continues to be the worst d-man on the team and it's not even close.

In good news, I though Collins and Toure looked outstanding, but they're the only two defenders I trust in the defensive zone at this point.



I also overheard Zulich bragging again how he'd move the team to King's City if he did not get his new arena. Between his Ego and Duncanson behind the bench it's really hard to continue supporting this team.

Papineau use a pick and go get another scorer. Delic and Goyette are not enough to create scoring chances.

Joe Ranger stole that point. I like Dunc and really want to see him succeed but can anyone who watched that game honestly say we look well coached? My lord man, powerplay in slow motion all night , nobody wants to shoot, forcing plays trying to pass through players, they had one play trying to set up Goyette all night….over and over, so predictable.
To me Holmes and Robinson are not equipped to run the powerplay…Collins didn’t seem to be out there much and what happened to Chromiak? Seen him early then he seemed to disappear? What about Villeneuve? Help explain someone, did I miss something?
I don’t know man, Mcallum on the first line, Musty trying to do everything himself…Ranger the one amazing bright spot and again for me the only reason they were able to get a point. Doesn’t get any easier Sunday.
