That’s called scouting and drafting.

Just curious are you linked to the team, you seem to be knowledgable on a lot of these players, and always shedding a positive light? Please don't take it in a bad way, just curious.

Mostly positive but I’d describe myself as a realist. Make no mistake I get frustrated like most but I have a hard time talking negatively about kids playing a sport they love for us Sudbury fans or talking negatively about anyone’s career or job. I can be better everyday I breathe, so can you. We are not perfect, it’s a sport I’m passionate about….and I’d rather not post at all rather than be negative.

A long time season ticket holder with a unique prospective not unlike others on here. I just chose not to be negative. Thanks for the compliments but from what I read on this board there are posters who know the players way better than me.

ok, you had mentioned Brassard had a tough life, which maybe alot of us don't know about on this board.

Sorry but I never said that. I don’t know this kid. Being on waivers I would say he has had a tough year but beyond that I have no personal insight on his life or his playing career in the Q. Can you show me this post?

my apologies, I thought it was yourself, must have been another poster.

Ended up watching the game late last night. Seems to be lacking cohesiveness. That's not good. Their getting a little frustrated which takes away from playing the system effectively.

Musty seems to be having quite the game...maybe trying to get the penalty box named after him
Did the same thing last season when things weren't going his way.

Brassard is lethargic! He has no life to him in the net! Unless there is something Ranger did off the ice that we will never know, GM messed this up big time

Same players with no discipline, McCallum, Larmand (when not suspended).
I can say with 100% certainty that Ranger did not have any off ice issues. He was greatly respected by the coaches, players, the equipment ppl and the billets. In fact DM and KM BOTH were against releasing him. This was 100% Papineaus decision against others wishes. Questioning his character is ridiculous and uninformed, the coaches wished he could have worn a letter.

Didn’t question Rangers character! Questioning as to why he was released. Couldn’t be because of on ice performance because he is far better than Brassard. If the GM iced him against both DM and KM then what does that say for where they stand in the organization KM has had his fingers on this team one way or another since stamps were $0.10. Don’t think he’s going anywhere with DM now coaching and doing a great job with the cards dealt. Its got to be the GM to go regardless if playoffs or not

Not meant to be a dump on Duncanson but interested so I figured it out.

Record under each regime (ot and so losses combined)

Duncanson 3 - 7 - 1 .318
Interregnum 3 - 1 - 1 .700
MacKenzie 15 - 16 - 6 .486

A 486 percentage for the year would put you in 7th in the east. .318 would be 19 overall. Of course 700 would put you in second so maybe we should have stayed with Ken. :DD

Feel free to check as I just did it from looking at the schedule

Not even close to a slew foot. Really not even a penalty

I think I always said chromiak was a great skater and puck handler. Well maybe not always.
