I have no sources haha but that would be fine with me!
Hey, let's make a deal. If it benefits both teams why not. Problem is Wolves fans fall in love with their players. Always think they're worth more than anybody values them.

Just hope our management team doesn't have that might set this season.

First off, I don’t believe he is traded. If a player like Othman can be reeled in so can McCallum ( he made great improvements after Christmas). If they were to trade him, it won’t be to a team in the East.
Othmann is a first-round NHL pick, bit of a difference. His career high in penalty minutes is also closer to McCallum's career low.

If the Wolves can upgrade from McCallum, they should, if he sticks around, he's a fine OA, but let's not act like he's the second coming.

I am in complete agreement with you on this. McCallum had a good year and he's deserving to return as an OA, but is nowhere near being regarded as a top player in this league.

Quite the opposite, our fan base under appreciate some of our players. Some fans feel our team/players are second rate because we are in the North. Not true.

If McCallum hit the open market most teams would be interested, but we’d never replace that value. London would love him. He is a unicorn in this league. Is there a player with his skill set that is hated by every other player. Answer: NO! Can you imagine his stats if the refs weren’t influenced by his reputation. Let’s be honest, Coach Stillman favoured his son over McCallum year one, then 1.5 seasons of no hockey. This year a ton of growth under new coaches. IMO very valuable next season.

U18 draft tomorrow night. As a Wolves fan, always excited for that draft, as we likely have the best record in the OHL with it.

The under appreciated under valued were swept in round 1

Sudbury kid tending goal for SSM would be nice

I think a lot of the doubt at this point would be because letting a GM run a draft and then kicking him to the curb would be quite weird.
Didn't Barclay Branch run the draft in 2017 draft and leave a week later to make way for Papineau? Literally, our last GM was kicked to the curb the same way you are saying would be weird.

Just because it was done once doesn’t make it the norm, I agree doing it again is not the preferred way.

What makes anyone think Paps is going anywhere at this point. I think the only way this happens is if Dmac and Kmac are offered complete control.

he resigned, to a job with Flint.

He did, he went to a place with the foundation laid by his mentor. And it was a good clean break. Papineau was going to take complete control of the wolves which would have essentially left Branch assistant GM again.
