Really good looking team.
The wolves are acquiring DiVincentiis, Mathurin, & Mesar without giving up any of Taylor, Villeneuve, or Walton(s); and, also acquiring Martin & McCoy?

watching U18 Nor vs USA, Cleveland very nice player, big, skates well, physical, and good communicator. You can see him communicating with his teammates who to pickup etc. This would be a huge pickup.

If Wolves somehow get lucky with both Dvorsky and Cleveland reporting.. watch out.

Would fill two huge holes without having to give up additional assets

Haven’t heard of any trade request here in Kitchener. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t one.

Martin would be a great fit for anyone contending. Solid power forward who should put up 30+ next year.

He’ll be in demand.

I think BEST case scenario is they start the season like this:

Musty - Delic - Goyette
Martin - Dvorsky - Konyen
Villeneuve - McCallum - Taylor
Yearwood - Pharand - Coughlan
Walton

Anania - Collins
Cleveland - Mania
Protz - Chromiak
Jackson

Krawchuk
Gaulton

And they acquire picks for the guys who aren't on this roster i.e. Toure. That team is still very strong. Mania is in a very similar position next year to Jack Thompson post draft, and we all liked him. Acquire a dman and L2/3 winger at the deadline, plus a G using Taylor if Krawchuk isn't doing well.

They will need at least one legit top pairing D imo; but yeah, the wolves can use Taylor & Walton in addition to picks to get what they need.

Yeah. And the top pair D can be bought at the TDL. I also think you wait and see what you have internally first, it’s smarter asset management. You often have kids make big development jumps in this age range.

Lots of position battles to happen in camp, the OA slots, the 4th line as well as a lot of places to be won on the d-core. Should be a fun and spirited camp.

All the high picks the Wolves have at their disposal would need to be dealt, along with the likes of Gaulton, Chromiak, Protz. Get some additional picks to use as well with trading out Toure and Konyen. But yeah more then likely Taylor or Walton(s) would need to be involved to get all this buying done. Partly why I left Taylor out of the top 12 forwards, and wishful thinking that the Wolves wouldn't have to trade Taylor to accomplish all these moves lol. This would be the Wolves going all in, with this type of roster and acquiring guys like Martin, Mesar, McCoy, Mathurin and DiVincentiis

Been watching USA at world under 18 Cleveland gets very limited ice time and when he does 20 second shifts. If this is any indication of what is in store at the college level expect him at camp.

Delic as first center 🤦🏻‍♂️. You think Delic has better playmaking capacity and elite vision than Dvoraky ? I’m sure it will be an easy sell to have him come to NA to play with Konyen on a second line lolll

Goyette(W), Dvorsky(C), Musty (W) 1st line next season. Book it. Delly wing on Villie’s line with ???

Start this way and evaluate then make your moves (after the Martin trade to start the season).
