you had too many pops at the game to think that.
Maybe, but just watch this kid in all three zones and tell me I’m wrong. Furthermore, let’s revisit this in a year from now..I know I look at this team with blue and grey lens glasses but trust me it was no fluke he was awarded 1st star last night. In addition, Konyen could have been easily recognized was with a star as well. I see value..

So the Pete’s trade Lardis and Panwar to the Dogs for players who the feel are better. Lardis is thriving and Panwar is a stud player. This is where we need to be very, very careful next year with trades. Our forward depth on top 6 is good, bottom six maybe a little bit more added. But on D we drastically need two PP guys and some goal tending depth. But it has to fit. One puck that needs to be shared, we can’t have a room full of egos…thoughts?

Villeneuve is the real deal, haven't seen a player like him in a long time, that does everything well, very responsible game. Konyen, I think physically a late bloomer, once he fills in more physically and get stronger will even get better for the Wolves. I agree Konyen had a good game yesterday, and has been playing well lately.

The wolves need a DelMastro clone a heck of a lot more than a PP QB imo. I don’t think adding an offensive minded D without shutdown abilities can be added to a roster that has Mania and Chromiak.
I think Punnet if made available would be a great add that would not cost the wolves their 1st-‘07 pick

Konyen is playing better however big mistake last night when he stick checked the player and got burned inside our own blueline allowing the pass to go across ice to Lardis and then the tying goal. They have to play to protect not allow them to get space and time to make passes inside our zone especially in late stages of the game. But yes Konyen has been imposing himself it’s obvious he is working in areas that he knows needs improvement.

Checked media notes this morning and nothing on Robinson in terms of any potential suspension, and nothing at all has been posted as of yet, think that means he doesn't get suspended?

I really like Villenueve. He will be the the wolves MVP imo, maybe by next years playoffs; but I really wish Papineau had selected Dickinson.

I doubt it I think he will get suspended. In Robinson defence, I don't think he was trying to make a dirty play, but he had anticipated the play, off the Face-off and got the player high. However, due to being suspended before, and knowing the OHL he will be suspended again.

The league office of the league which runs mostly on the weekend isnt open on teh wekeend so they dont post them until mondays

The Robinson hit- the angle the CHL stream of the game provides shows the Bulldog's leg twisting underneath him as he goes down. It certainly doesn't look like targeting or a hit to the head from that angle, awkward and unfortunate outcome yes.

What about buying suspensions back in the playoffs, is that still a thing? Anyway was funny watching the players chirp at the end of the game. Second time I've seen that at the end of the game with Hamilton during their celebration. Wolves blowing kisses at them. More than your usual animosity it would seem though not that rough a game.
Panwar may have the best player for both teams and certainly for Hamilton. A fine hockey player. Well things are still up in the air. No disrespect to the Petes they'd still be favored but the lesser evil between Barrie and North Bay.

Anyone know what would happen if mississauga hamilton and the wolves all finished with seventy one points?

If I understand the tiebreakers correctly, if they all finish with 71 points, they would finish like this:

5. Sudbury
6. Hamilton
7. Mississauga

I believe the tie break is ROW, if not then I’m not sure how this goes, but assuming that it is ROW:

Hamilton is done with 71 pts and 30ROW.

If Sudbury wins tomorrow and gets to 71 pts, they would have 31ROW.

If Mississauga gets to 71 pts, that means that they got 1 more win in either OT or regulation and 1 loss that would put them at 29ROW.

I think that’s pretty clear let me know if you need it put a different way l.
