Konyen gets plenty of ice due to injury and suspension. Hes a hard worker but he lacks a few entangbles imo. If his production doesn't rise early next season, I could see him on the move. Seems like a really nice kid, but he has to produce. I wish him well.

A lot to like tonight, but also too many passengers: Collins, Chromiack, Robinson, Bressard, Konyen, Villineuve, Yearwood, Coughlan, McCallum and Pope were noticeably good tonight. Others struggled.
I know it’s late but gotta try some new PP guys (Villineuve, McCallum, Collins Anania), I don’t know..what do we have to loose? Gotta win out now and no more suspensions..

I see value in him. he played no part in tonight’s loss.

You are absolutely correct on the 3rd/winning goal. You can loose battle in your own corner and then be chasing the goal scorer back to your net. Furthermore, #93 also shot puck into chin pads twice on OZ blue line. Can’t happen.
He has the worst shot from the point. They never get released at the right time and then when he does its always shin pads. Never seen a guy who can't get puck through to the net especially with him being the offensive guy. Wolves have to find an elite offensive d-man that can control the line, get pucks to the net, and run the PP with heavy shot. Loved guys like Rivers, Capibianco, Dodero, Corrado and McFadden. They could run the PP effortless.

Yea 4th line next season. There's a phrase not sure you're aware, it's called " body of work".

Change my mind. Prefer N.B. than Barrie. I find key player's very very good. Their D seems better than N.B. as well. Also, the majority of their players look like grown men..
Injuries for Barrie are mounting though. That Toure suspension might be well worth it for the wolves if it’s Barrie-Wolves round 1.

I agree, Mania works on his shot not only from the point, will do wonders for him and the team.

Countless times he can go through the offensive zone blowing by opposing team and get quality scoring opportunity, and majority of times missing the net. If he can work on that part of his game he will be deadly.

Thompson had a killer shot from the point as well.

Can't emphasize how important tonight's game is. It would be incredible if we jumped up to the 5th spot. I know our chances are slim, but there's still a possibility. I just hate our chances against NB & BC. We need that top line of ours to step up and give us a statement game.

The first line needs the puck to do their thing. Last night Delic was 3/10 on face offs and 40% last 5 games.

Musty was obviously still under the weather his game will come back to where it was. Toure coming back will be a tremendous boost in the playoffs. Northbay or Barrie will be a tough matchup...but I feel like we can matchup better with Northbay, as long as we can get some bodies to take a beating standing in front of DiVincentiis
I noticed a fair amount of flip flopping of the lines last night, in particular the 1st and 2nd lines. I'm assuming in part to Musty not playing or practicing with the team for most the week.
McCallum has been on fire as of late but doesn't fit well with Goyette. Goyette had several big gveaways last night and just wasn't gelling with whoever he was with.
And I'm sorry but I feel it was our goaltending last night that let us down on a couple or all 3 occasions last night. The 1st Colts PP goal Brassard although there was traffic in front of him still gave up the entire left side of the net. his positional awareness on that goal was brutal. The 2nd goal...Brassard just watched Clarke slide it past him. (yes the dman did't help him out...bla bla bla) and the 3rd goal yes it was a nice shot but again Brassard to deep gives up net...Colts player could have made the goal look less imressive by simply shooting into the wide open trapper side. We need Chucky to step up in a huge way for the playoffs, Brassard is not an option.

I predict we win tonight and Sunday, slide into 6th and face Barrie...but a part of me prefers to face NB.

Either way The Elgin St. Barn will be Hoppin'!!!!!!!!!

After watching last nights game, I’ll go out on a limb and say Musty wasn’t the only player fighting off some sort of illness….could be wrong but the team seemed off.

Musty still off. Shouldn’t be carrying puck on the pp
Would like to see a little less predictability on PP. sling shot play every, every time is easy to defend. Mix it up a bit, how about overload one side and dump it in and forecheck and battle to get possession and set up. Also when you do get possession in OZ on PP why does everything have to work off the top of the umbrella? Teams know what we do so they defend it and Shortie after Shortie…how about mix in some below the goal line plays (more high low stuff). Anyway, since declining PPs is not an option it would be nice to get this figured out..

It's just all the little things he does all over the ice. Full out hustle. Delic is going to be well over a point per game player next season with the Wolves. Reminds me of Jaspers a bit at times. And he would be an absolute elite OA player the following season in this league if no NHL teams step up
My boy, Delic.

Trying to feed Musty and teams cheat knowing it’s coming. End result is in the back of our net all the time. I think we give up more goals on the PP then actually score.

Musty really needs to play with a little more urgency. I really hope he can improve his skating. It's going to be his Achilles heel.
