We gotta stop cheating all over the ice in ever circumstance! Even on a 5min PK, we are blowing the zone early. WTF. Defence wins games. We have the skill set up front to break out after we gain possession of the puck, not breaking out on a hope and a prayer we get the puck….PLAY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PUCK!

But you gotta think he needs to be better in that situation. You're up 2, the player was in no position to be a treat on the ice at that time. That's just a poor decision making with the stick up. I realize the player is smaller but that didn't need to happen. Hopefully he just gets a game.

Hopeful the wolves can add guys to the lineup next season with higher IQ cause it's hurt them this season.

I like Larmand. Hardnose player but he himself makes poor decisions. Same for Toure.

This type of stuff can't happen next season.

I’m not sure who picks the stars but Villineuve getting first star is very deserving and proves my point( he is the most defensively talented player on this team) never cheats and always on the right side of the puck. Wow, he is only 16yr old. His teammates should watch his game film and learn the 200 ft game.

Do we have the tie breaker with Hamilton?

Villeneuve was awesome tonight - looked like a 19 year old veteran out there. He's really settled into his role on this team. First half of the season he was a young 16 year old running around trying to fight everyone and undisciplined at times. He's really settled his game down & playing with poise while still keeping his physical element. I think his offensive talent will show more next season & he can be a PPG player for us. Good for whoever picked the stars tonight because Villy only had 1A & typically they just go with who had the most goals/points.

Sloppy game I would say but got the W

Lol. I wasn't there tonight, was only just following the score online. I suspect it was a deflating end. Is it right they only had one shot in the third?

Neither was I. Watched online. I'm sencing some might be a little disappointed having the game go into o/t. To me, pretty much even teams at this point with Hamilton selling.

Collins and Anania were on the the ice for whole PK until that stoppage also

Guys Villeneuve was given the 1st star because they gave him the OT goal at first.

We had the game in the bag. Don’t understand why with less than 5 min left the rookie Pope is getting a shift especially when we needed a regulation win. He got caught in the cycle allowing a open shot. Not his fault as that’s on the coaches. Also almost getting caught with no player serving the major on Robinson

Agreed he is unreal to watch without the puck. Knows how to play the game the right way. NHL scouts will be all over this kid next year. He is that good of a player for only 16 yrs of age. He hits hard, shoots hard, skates hard, thinks hard. Love this kid.

And I really believe Coach MacKenzie has developed this guy to play at this level in 2 short months. If Dunc was still behind the bench Villeneuve's career would suffer and would jeopardize his chances of playing pro just saying.

It's true that he blew that but where is the defense? Someone has to be back in the neutral zone! Both of them were pinching which at that point in the game was uncalled for.
 
I was bummed when Hamilton took us to OT because I thought it would make a difference in the standings - but I guess not!!

Also just realized how good a chance we have at finishing 5th & playing PBO. We need to beat the SOO & we just need Mississauga to NOT go 2-0 against PBO & NB - we have the tie breaker over MIS if we finish even in the standings
