I lived in Colorado for three years. Loved every minute of it, but couldn't stay away from New England and the ocean. I'm going to need clams from the Red Wing today thanks to @GlenFeatherstone . Curse you, delicious bivalve AND your human ambassadors!
Arizona does a lot of things well, fried fish is NOT one of them. We may or may not be near Boston in June on the pretense of visiting my family, but lets be honest.....it's a food tour-starting with Su Changs in Peabody. (Oh yeah, Chinese food here bites the big one, too) You couldnt pay me to move back, but I will visit for cuisine.

It’s 64 here on the way up to 67.
For the first time in history, the Philly area has made it to mid Feb with no measurable snow accumulation.

I just shoveled about half of what I needed to and gave up. There's only about an inch and a half here but it's all water.

Trying to book a task rabbit to finish the driveway. The pavement is super uneven so it's hard to shovel even light snow. This shit is impossible.

I went back out to clear the stuff that has accumulated on my car since this morning. Pure slop. I haven't seen a sander out in my complex which means it will be a sheet of ice in the morning.

It’s going to be almost 40 and sunny tomorrow. I’ll clear off my car, throw some ice melt down, and let the sun do its thing. I don’t need to go anywhere today, and I cleared the walk, sidewalk, and mouth of the driveway.

Everything out here was frozen solid. About 2-3 inches of snow but sheet of ice underneath.
Shoveled the snow.
Through 50 lbs of ice melt on the driveway , walk and steps.
Waited an hour and then went back out and scraped the ice/slush. Heavy as a sonofabitch.
Thank God for Yak Trax.

Yak Trax are a must have for folks in New England (and other places that get snow/ ice). I can walk down my steep driveway when it has ice.

I actually got a few things done today. I got my taxes done . This was the first time in over 50 years I did not have to pay Mass tax. It was the first full year with only Social Security as income.

I also went to the town hall and registered the new car. I got new plates as the old ones were 13 years old and rusty. The Crosstrek did well in the snow. It is my first "all wheel drive" car.

Oatmeal cookies with raisins for you
Actually they are good if they are homemade.

I enjoy a good oatmeal cookie but I put chocolate chips in and not raisins
