Really hope Reaves is OK. He would be a big loss if the injury is significant.

Something happened tonight that didn’t happen in years past. Right off the get go. Veteran Rangers, and leaders were engaged physically and set tone. Kreider right away with big hit. Trouba followed suit. As the game went on they played for each other. Everyone was hitting and chirping Subban. Strome sticks up for Lindgren against the toughest guy on the Devs roster. Vets were leading the way physically.

Kakko is the answer. Laf might be better. Might be worse. But they’ll be fine. Probably not franchise players but it is what it is.

If they aren’t franchise players then we should consider tanking again until we find two who are.

Peter Forsberg with a goal and an assist, Oh my bad, I mean Sammy Blais looked great. His nickname should be Pavel Who? WOW! What a pick up.

Is this guy gonna be a fan favorite or what? They shouldn't even bother voting. Just give him the Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award already.

Can this guy do it all? Finish every check with vigor, create a net front presence, getting the stick on pucks for tip ins, dangle like an Olympian while staying on his feet and going strong to the net. Man, I am impressed with Pavel Who. He will no doubt move up the lineup if he keeps this up. And he is only 25 years old.

Blais had great potential for a long time but I think injuries kind of affected that. Hoping he keeps it up. Would be nice if he turned into something because Buch was obviously nothing short of amazing for us.

Subban is such a massive piece of shit always making cheap little “oh not my fault!” plays. That’s a borderline slew foot at best and a full on dirty play at worst.

Then the constant whining, the running away, hiding behind the red and then when he decides to “fight” he sprints at Kreider and wrestles him down immediately with zero attempt to engage in a fight. Dude is a flat out coward.

Ultimately the best revenge on him is just the fact that he’s out there for the Devils. He’s atrocious these days, barely an NHL level player anymore, let alone a good one. Is he any better than Hajek? Good shot but that’s literally it at this point.

No worries..Reeves took down that number.
There's always a next time ;)

Miller is a project. Hedman struggled big time in his first few seasons as well. Give him time and he’ll be a monster on defense

McIlrath struggled big time in his first few seasons as well. Give him time and he’ll be a monster on defense.

I mean, I still think they have elite potential. To me, McDavid and Crosby are the only current generational players in the NHL. Franchise players are like MacKinnon, Matthews, Draisaitl, etc. imo. So it’s not a bad thing to not end up as franchise. It’s a tough thing to accomplish. Or maybe I have high standards.

Then he intentionally jumps off the bench to get booted from the game.

I'm still struggling to understand why people spell "Reaves" wrong so much. It's been months. Is it autocorrect? It's Reaves, not Reeves
