Kakko has shown a few things. Besides that miracle goal against the Bruins Laf has done very little. Really don't know what the answer is anymore. This kid was so highly touted with having amazing one on one skill before he was drafted.
Kakko is the answer. Laf might be better. Might be worse. But they’ll be fine. Probably not franchise players but it is what it is.

Subban is such a massive piece of shit always making cheap little “oh not my fault!” plays. That’s a borderline slew foot at best and a full on dirty play at worst.

Then the constant whining, the running away, hiding behind the red and then when he decides to “fight” he sprints at Kreider and wrestles him down immediately with zero attempt to engage in a fight. Dude is a flat out coward.

Ultimately the best revenge on him is just the fact that he’s out there for the Devils. He’s atrocious these days, barely an NHL level player anymore, let alone a good one. Is he any better than Hajek? Good shot but that’s literally it at this point.

Having a tough guy that can play that has your back on the ice has a big factor for players who are not normally players that play with some snarl. Him being there allows them to do so. Each teammate is able to stand a little taller and be more physical.

Name two other forwards on the team that would be less of a loss. You can't include anyone headed to the AHL.

It really takes a weasel to nail step by step how to act like a massive bitch after a slew foot and injury like that.

always viewed miller as the young d that needs to be the centerpiece of any big move. he's the worst defensively overall because of his hockey iq, and he doesn't bring the skill / production to make up for it. not to mention we have more than enough and much more talented players on the blueline already. and we have significantly better defense/physically oriented d prospects knocking on the door. right now millers still widely seen as a bit of a unicorn with his skating ability at that size, age, and sparks visions of what he could be for scouts. he's the guy who's addition by subtraction in that he doesn't bring anything we have a need while we he sits in the way of guys who are more in the mold of what we need more of defensively. move him before the illusion wears off, probably already depreciating

Miller is a project. Hedman struggled big time in his first few seasons as well. Give him time and he’ll be a monster on defense
