LaF and Kakko were bad last season as well. They need to step up and be the ones to facilitate the offensive pressure themselves instead of playing like passengers. For example, look at how much Hughes dominates possession compared to either of them

Kakko doesn’t shoot, his speciality is deking it into the net. Needs to work on his shot big time. LaF for sure needs to pick his shots better, seems like he gets blocked every time he shoots
