I just hope Stolarz has a speedy recovery. Feel bad for the guy.
Woll you're up.
Woll you're up.
Because Leafs fans always jump to the worst conclusion. I have no doubt the guy is not done for the year at all. I fully expect we will see him again in this series. How the f**k would you know?
I've got vertigo and it doesn't go away.I hope you're wrong and the hit didn't just give him vertigo which can make you puke.
Vertigo, which is a sensation of spinning or dizziness, can occur after a hit to the head due to various factors, including damage to the vestibular system, which controls balance, or other neurological issues. Vertigo can often cause nausea and vomiting

Safe to say they are not going to dress Reaves.people wanting Reaves blows my mind. He is cooked as a hockey player. Him going after bennett would put us down 5 mins and Bennett is a tough SOB, probably doesn't even leave the game lol. Leafs need to focus on winning and scoring goals. Scoring 5 in game 1 is a good sign, we need more offense.
The moment you start seeking retribution, is the moment you play perfectly into Florida's hands. That's exactly what they want you to do.Totally understand the thirst for blood, but since when did Reaves even serve the goon function effectively?
And the last time we tried the eye-for-an-eye approach, the league launched Kadri into the sun. They'll do it again. It's also probably what Florida is hoping for.
Tough as it is, stay focused on the goal of a win in Game 2. Protect Woll, finish every hit, don't get suckered into the alley where Florida wants this series to go.

Think in general against both Florida and Ottawa, the Leafs have done a really good job of ignoring a lot of the post-whistle nonsense. That needs to continue being the case.
Interesting, I think it's an easy one given how the NHL rules these. As much as i hate to admit it, I dont see any suspension on that play.
I think the league will suspend him for a couple of games simply to take down the temperature in the series. As much as i hate to admit it, I dont see any suspension on that play.
The irony is that it's entirely possible that Bennett signs with the Leafs on July 1.I hate players like Bennett. No respect at all for other people on the ice. He doesn't care. And Stolarz was his teammate last year with whom he won the cup with FFS. f*** that guy.
Not sure that's ironic. We've had pieces of shit play for us in the past tooThe irony is that it's entirely possible that Bennett signs with the Leafs on July 1.
The answer to this is to drive hard to the net by mandate. If you have a chance to drive hard into the net you must take it.
No need to go out of your way. Just drive when you can.

Illegal play, unnecessary and intentional hit to the head that causes an injury on a defenseless player.
This isn't an accident, isn't normal play and is targeted. It's everything they suspend on and a key area of focus they're trying to remove from the game
I think I agree with this. It was greasy, but not really all that forceful. Sucks for Stolarz, let’s hope he’s ok in generalGuys you might crucify me for this but I think this is the shot to the mask earlier. As greasy as Bennett is there is no way that does enough damage on it's own to justify being stretchered out.
It's been reported everywhere he went to the hospital for tests.Seems odd nobody can confirm he went to hospital. Could the first play where he was hit in the head with the puck been a contributing factor?
Those first two periods had to leave Leaf fans feeling the most optimistic about this team in a very long time.Bennett put a damper on what should have been a joyous night last night.
Fingers crossed that we get some positive news today.
Okay didn't see that, thanks. It's been reported everywhere he went to the hospital for tests.
