I agree with Valiquette here. Those kinds of moves don't belong in the game. Hughes didn't look like he was trying to help his team win there, instead just looking to beat the Rags goalie with a slow and weak move that would have been an embarrassing goal to give up. However, what's actually embarrassing is players trying to use the NHL to promote their Instagram accounts and possibly get influence benefits like sponsorships.

I don't even know what that means.

I usually like Valiquette's analysis and find him to be quite insightful, but in this case he missed the mark. Hughes was trying to score. I think Vally sometimes just gets a little too defensive of goalies. But not a big deal...move on.
