Gallagher's got plenty of moxy but that runt should watch himself. He's a guy that is going to take some severe punishment. 8 Goalie interference penalties this year. Runs goalies, and then runs his mouth.

His head lines up with most players shoulders, it won't be long before he starts taking some major league hits.

Hopefully it starts with McIlrath next fall. Who the hell says something like that? What a dirtbag.

Has anyone put out any info if Stepans jaw was wired shut? I think that would be a telltale sign if he's playing anytime soon (being able to eat food and all)

Don't know if it's been said, and I'm not a doctor, but it would be surprised if he wasn't. Had a plate inserted. Use your jaw so much. Don't want to screw with the healing of that.

Montrael is steering this series in a direction the rangers are least effective. It's probably a smart move for them especially given the officiating / lack there of. Let's be real, they dont give a **** about stepan or if their transparent gameplan offends anyone. I trulely respect that, they see a weakness and are going after it. I hate the dirty hit by Prust but they have access to physicality they can insert into their lineup and we don't now. Worse yet we aren't getting calls which might mitigate the dirty stuff. Their coach has shed some light on his mindset with the brassard comment. I love the brutal honesty in that but he whines so much he loses all credibility.

I don't hate the Habs or majority of their fans. I just think they're ******** who aren't worthy of hate. This is what the NHL wants, the gross incompetence fosters it.

Sickening, classless comments from the Habs, lead by their crybaby coach. Go out and destroy them tomorrow, then finish them off in their own pathetic barn in Game 5.

I've been watching hockey for quite a few years now, and I've never heard such a collection of whiny, pathetic, vindictive comments.

Prust is already a ***** on his own, but I have no doubt he was egged on by Therrien to do what he did. The hit was late, away from the puck, and way behind the play, and in no way could be construed as a hockey play.

I hope all those morons choke on a wedge of cheese.

"@KatieStrangESPN: Brendan Gallagher won't be surprised if Stepan plays Sun: "He got up and was yapping and yelling. So i'm sure the jaw isn't hurting too much"

Yep, no alternatives to that comment. Gallagher, M.D.

I mean you want guys to not spit out cliches but come on, that is classless. He could just say, "he played the rest of the game, so I wouldn't be surprised if he played Game 4."

This post is everything. 100% agreed.

I wish nothing but pain on that entire organization from here on out. PAIN.

I remember when Roenick broke his jaw. It was 100 times worse, and not only was he talking, but he was playing with it. Just because Stepan was talking doesn't mean it wasn't broken. Players play with broken bones all the time.

On second thought, bad example. Roenick was a tough cookie, the Habs players aren't used to that I guess. They see someone talking with a broken jaw and it's like seeing Bigfoot. "What is this? Impossible!"

No, it's totally possible.

Nah, he's just Rudolph on Therrien's weasel sleigh.

Not a good example when it's literally impossible for JR to ever shut the **** up.

Precedent has been set... Wouldn't be sirprised if this starts next season.

Kids got a pair, I'll give him that, but he plays the wing, and he's small. I expect him to start getting wallpapered along the boards next year. Games vs Boston, NY, and others he'll be taking some big hits.

With the playoffs now I think guys will lay off, but you're probably right, next year he's getting clocked.

I'd love to see him do that to Gallagher.

Don't think you're alone there.

BTW the replays are slowed down, but the first part is at game speed. There are lots of people here that say he's slow, and has poor lateral agility. McIlrath was moving so fast that he was a blur in that video. Poor kid didn't even see him coming.

Also Dylan will have another 20lbs of muscle on his frame from when that video was taken.

He injured Jonas Enroth at the end of the year--got to think Buffalo is all in.

By their logic, Kreider didn't cause Price's injury because he played the rest of that period after he got hit. :sarcasm:

Dr. Recchi, is that you?

Dr. Gallagher isn't aware of how swelling works.

Price got up and played an entire period on his knee -- wonder if he expects him to play too.

These munchkins, including Prust, can't stop running their mouths. Never seen anything like it. Put them away now and are care of the retaliation next year.
