Stepan will be fine. Win on Sunday, and finish them on Tuesday.

Take photos at center ice at the Bell Centre with the ****ing Prince of Wales trophy, and shove it in their ****ing face.

Finish them.

The best revenge is knocking Montreal out of the playoffs. This is good in a way, it takes the spotlight away from Tokarski and undermines his fantastic Game 3.

Stepan will be back by Game 5 with a full face shield. We will win Game 4. The karma train is blowing back into our station.

Weaver and Prust took out two centers with hits. Therrien is a trash coach. When Kyle Mclaren popped Zednik in 2002, Therrien went on record to say they will injure Bruins.

Im shocked and kinda disgusted the way the league has officiated these playoffs. They call charging on Carcillo but miss a season-ending open ice illegal check on Stepan.

The Rangers need to only send one message - end their friggin season.

Agreed 100%. All stems from trash bag Therrian. Instigated this entire mess because it's the only card he had after his team got its doors blown off. Sickening.

Keep it in check and win the series. Then let McIlrath go to town in the fall with this ******* organization comes to the Garden.

Would it be a surprise if Stepan didn't miss any time? He played with a broken jaw. Stepan saw a specialist this morning and it was determined that Stepan had a broken jaw. Wire the jaw shut. He wears a full cage and plays.

The NHL is shooting itself in the foot. Can anyone imagine the NBA allowing a twelfth man to come in for three minutes and injure a starter. It's ridiculous that top line talent has to play with a target on its head. At least the NFL is trying to cleanup its act. I think the NHL is regressing.

This.

Just win, thats the best revenge you can have. Beat them in Game 4 at home, humiliate them, run up the score if we can. Same thing in Game 5, Subban calls our goalie lucky yet his team scores two "lucky" goals last night and not a peep from that SOB. If we could finish it in the next 2 games that would be best scenario for so many reasons. Have Prust feel that he was responsible for lighting a fire under the NYR team. Was still somewhat a fan of Prust up until last night. I'm sure guys on this team that were still buddies with him think a little bit less of him after the hit and now knowing Stepan got injured.

Just win, injuries are gonna happen but wrap it up asap, rest up the guys and hopefully Stepan can be back next week for the Finals.

Seems like Montreal fans wanted Prust scratched anyway.

They did and it's exactly why this is a win/win for them.

I don't care if they gave Prust 1 game or 100, it has almost no bearing on this series. If it was Patch, then yeah, but Prust? Who cares? We already know the NHL is hypocritical regarding suspensions so, no surprise there.

They need to win game 4 and send the strongest message of all; Montreal is going golfing soon because they're not very good.

Hope so, as long as he is comfortable breathing I'm sure he is going to want to play.

This is what I don't understand. Granted, I know nothing about medicine, but if he was able to play the rest of the game last night, why not wait until after the playoffs to get surgery? Are there health issues of having untreated fractures? Is the pain too much that he opted to have potentially season-ending surgery?

There are health issues to not getting it set correctly.

Yep, before he found out Price was injured, it was an accident, all of a sudden it was on purpose. And their fans completely bought.

Honestly MTL have some of the least intelligent fans I've ever seen. Living in Toronto I see passionate habs fans and passionate leaf fans. Leaf fans have their idiots, but Habs fans most of the time just seem uneducated.

:thumbu:

I heart this post.

When asked about the Prust hit Therrien kept bringing up the Price incident. Seriously wouldn't surprise me if he told his goons to go at there and injure someone.

I would be shocked if this isn't exactly what happened.

I mean the entire team, Therrien included, has been running their mouth since game 1. Prust being one of the worst and he's been a complete idiot on the ice. It was only a matter of time before he injured someone.

And now that the 2-game announcement has been made, it makes you wonder if there would've been ANY suspension without the broken jaw? AND-Did it make the rangers stray from playoff protocol and announce the exact injury Stepan suffered? Interesting......
