I think we all suspected it tbh. Given how lifeless they would look, or how chaotic they would play even when they weren’t lifeless, it was obvious.

It's amazing to me that people didn't want to admit this when it was so blatantly obvious. It was obvious even when they were 9-1. No structure whatsoever under Dave.

Fair enough. One team has legendary hof goalie Johnathon Quick sitting on the bench because his coach was too stupid to even play him. Good for the Oil. I mean I said early in the game Peterson was going to cost his club the game. So its kind of surreal it happened that way.

Think about it. If the fabled Boston Bruins were commemorating the career of Bobby Orr in a game would they be sitting Cheevers out? I imagine even the Kings fans felt shorted by the coaches decision tonight.

McLellan, our secret weapon.

We get it, Johnathon “Jesus Christ himself” Quick didn’t play tonight. Let Oiler fans enjoy the win a bit, man.

I did think it was weird that they were so grumpy even when they were winning so much. Now it all makes sense.

It's not even that so much just watch the game, almost every game was basically the team would show up and then wait for the other team to decide how the game was going to be played and then try to win usually having to come back from behind.

That's just a poorly coached team.

Doesn't matter. Its not a usual game. Its a game saluting your legend Player, Drew Doughty. You think him, Kopitar, and Brown don't want to see Quick in net? lmao. This was indescribably dumb by McLellan and I predicted after the first period that it would end up being a bonehead move by McLellan, again overthinking hijmself.

Of course in a 1000 game commemoration you play the team mate that backdropped you to two cups. only an idiot wouldn't.

Lol, okay, I guess I'm an idiot. I took a look on the Kings board at their GDT. 600 posts and not a single one of them complaining that it was the wrong move. Not even one mention. Funny enough, dozens of negative posts about Brown. Looks like he should of been sat too.

I was saying McLellan was in idiot. Look, people hate the Kings here and aren't looking at it objecttively. So lets put it differently. If this was the 70's Bruins (I think you liked that club) and they were retiring Orrs Jersey or something monumental with Orr, would they defer on dressing Cheevers in that game. I don't think anybody would.

I think it was a clusterf*** decision, of the type that only McLellan makes. He seem to have trouble respecting star and core players likes and wants. This is a diss of Quick and the whole LA core. Just like Mclellan did in SJ.
