Should I check posts in the GDT when the Kings were winning this game or when Danault tied it 2-2 late on a totally blown coverage?

Thats the thing. All these post game comments are revisionist. The game I watched we could have lost. Went down the wire. Take the 2pts. We still gotta lot of work to do from what I'm seeing.

Most of the GDT Oilers fans view of the game was that the Oilers weren't being that good. Getting a Winning goal doesn't change 57mins of how the game was played. Not in my view.
You seem to want to shit on anything good. Are you looking for attention? Followed you for a long time, but don't get you lately. Good teams find ways to win. Maybe we are actually good??

I saw a very close game that could have gone either way. I thought both teams played well. The Oilers did look to be slightly less tenacious on the puck than the last 2 games, but can chalk that up to the back to back and also playing a club with fresh legs.

On to the next one.

Not sure why you have to stir on this. I don't recall doing that with yourself. I do recall you getting into it with other posters in the GDT tonight. I know what one told you to do.

This is the same club that was lost in space just a week ago. I need a bit more than this to think differently on that. Oilers have been such an up and down club for years Its tough to keep positive. This season for sure has been such a rollercoaster.

you must not have watched the game and maybe only looking at replays. On the winning goal Peterson goes back of net intercepting the puck instead of just letting it go to his D who was back on the play. Peterson then screws up with the puck, fakes out his D with two pump fakes, then panics, and bounces the puck off his own D. Oilers W the puck, work it back to the point, then To Drai, who spots Yama and they score. It was all on Peterson.

Admittedly I don't dislike the Kings. I respect their club and core. Unlike the Oilers they're a SC winning club. Most people here, through the Oilers being so awful have a fallback club. kings are mine, anybody paying attention knows that.

That's a lame excuse, lol, abandoning your zone because you've broken your stick is stupid and that's on the Kings player, your goalie is not always going to play the puck perfectly, but the Kings had ample chances to get that out or gain possession or just play normal defence.

There's only one team tonight that was gifted a complete freebie goal and that was the Kings on the first goal. THAT is a goalie just giving the team a goal (good thing for Smith he was strong the rest of the way).

Don't bring Greta into this. Our pucks will soon be made of soy and cow dung.

I'm not really understanding this post.

I view games differently than some do. This was not a well played game by the Oilers. We won despite being outplayed and because Peterson made a stupid play on the winning goal.

This was a game the Oilers had to have that went down the wire and could have gone either way. I'm just not buying the "wow this team is playing so great" narrative in post game when people were saying anything but DURING the game. get it?

Mike Smith made a stupid play on the first goal.

Those cancel each other out.

Fair enough. One team has legendary hof goalie Johnathon Quick sitting on the bench because his coach was too stupid to even play him. Good for the Oil. I mean I said early in the game Peterson was going to cost his club the game. So its kind of surreal it happened that way.

Think about it. If the fabled Boston Bruins were commemorating the career of Bobby Orr in a game would they be sitting Cheevers out? I imagine even the Kings fans felt shorted by the coaches decision tonight.

McLellan, our secret weapon.

Feel free to reference the reply in the gdt because either I missed it or you are making that up.
