There’s a very specific recipe you need to Kral your way to the lead in this pools. First you need your token Canadian, then you need to Filip on Leafs prospects. So with that I pick Filip Kral

One final piece of business to attend to, as it looks like Khabby may need a conditional pick for Kovalenko. He has yet to be named to the official roster, though Russia has left some spots open and he may still be on the team. If anybody else has noticed any of their players still unaccounted for on an official roster, please get a conditional pick in before the opening game puck drop.
 
The only guy still not technically on a roster is Eriksson Ek. This makes sense in a strategic way, because they knew they didn't have to add him for a couple of days anyway, and they can always keep that spot open in the event a couple of players from the same position get injured early. In that case OEE is going to be out of luck. WTK, if you want to make a conditional replacement, now is probably a good time.

When do they make their decision on when he can be added or not?

Cause if he's released or not added following his suspension I couldn't technically add a goalie and get retroactive points.

Up to you as your pool and runner.. we can do conditional on Ersson or just name Ersson as my last goalie pick and switch him outright.

I was the last guy to pick a goalie and if you read Sweden's stuff they're not naming a 1 so there's no advantage or disadvantage for me either way lol.

We'll call it a conditional pick and if Erikkson Ek never gets added you'll have Ersson in the bank, but if OEE does get added to the roster, yet doesn't play, you're stuck with him.

The first day's action is complete and it was a pretty good day to have Canadian players. Their 14-0 romp over Denmark provided the bulk of the pool scoring so far. With that said, Christien was one of the few entrants that got some scoring support from other nations, which got him off to a quick start with a pool leading 10 points. Tomsburninghat equaled that amount with a win and a shutout from Michael DiPietro (but sorry, the assist doesn't count in this pool). FightingSioux is nipping at their heels as he picked up 9 points on the day. Statsy with a slow start brings up the rear with 4 points. It's another full slate of games tomorrow with Russia getting its first taste of action against Denmark... poor, poor Denmark. :(

My team is doing decent enough outside of Americans who are still sleeping.

It seems that Skarek might not be a starting goalie for the Czech republic, that could be a major blow for my medal chances as well. I hope we will see a change in this regard though!

I'm just hoping OEE doesn't get added to the squad at this point.. get my points from Ersson lol

Skarek not starting is a downer for you, but it doesn't surprise me as I think personally Dostal is the better goalie prospect.

I agree with you, I like Dostal more as a goalie prospect, but I thought that this year it's up to Skarek for starting position, and Dostal as back-up and then, next year starting goalie for home WJC.
