Im ready for this draft to finish up. If I had a Nikolai for everytime a player I wanted was selected I might have a dollar by now, But Ill take this faller for my 9th round pick!

Well... it's been a helluva year for trying to pick goalies. I still honestly have NO CLUE who the starter is for almost any team. The guy I'm rolling the dice on is Pyotr Kochetkov of Russia. I don't really have a pun for that and we're rolling now so I didn't want to spend anymore time on it. Feel free to throw one in if you come up with something.
 
Worst year for poolies as far as goalies go.

Skarek is the only starter we all know and that's if you wanna gamble on the Czechs winning games.

DiPietro is the starter but he isn't a guy I have any confidence in.. so you have the potential for the Scott steal.

I'm sitting here waiting for something to clear up before I'm on the clock for my last selection.

Just pick Matt Villalta and act shocked when someone tells you he was cut. Then when the replacement draft comes around act like you forgot until Boxing Day morning

I do think we can count on Luukkonen as a starter as well. As for trying to draft a guy that's going to be cut, you might get stuck with a third stringer that someone is going to just keep in the press box, with no replacement opportunity. That's a pretty scary option.

As for my pun, i'm still working on something along the lines of "If he's no good, Bragin will have him working the coat-check". But with Kochet instead. Yeah, it's a work in progress. :laugh:

Hmm, I just heard an excellent interview with John Madden's son Tyler on the radio. Did you realize that John won 3 Stanley Cups and the most common question he gets every single day is...Are you the same John Madden from the video game?

I'm going with Tyler the Creator...does that make you Mad-den? Does it really even Madden? You know, I'm not even Tylered with making these puns...Whew...head is exploding...need some Tylernol.
