Pool: Statsy's WJC Pool: 10th Anniversary

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. ...and we’re done! In an impressive four days. Good job guys!

Now the first pick of the replacement draft goes to... nobody. Wow! It’s officially our first clean draft! Congrats boys. Someone could still get hurt, and if they do we can replace them at that point, but for now, we’re all done!

Seeing what's going on in the NHL and frankly Alberta, do we see any potential cancelation of the WJHC? That would be tragic but sadly I could see it happening. Worst case, please give us hockey even if it's without fans in the stands. What is everyone hearing at this point?

They'll do it without fans. The teams are all already there and will serve their quarantines, so our worst case scenario is a fanless wjc

We’re in no danger of cancelation at this point, but the NHL player Olympics on the other hand is hanging by a thread.

On an unrelated note, Tom selects Lukas Reichel... again.

In all seriousness, every exhibition game was moved to Thursday.

9:00 pm - AUT vs SWE

We recently passed the first anniversary of Tom’s Tough Day. Sadly, the site that hosts that video went down. I would’ve loved to have watched that again. I might just have to remake it at some point.

Anyways, congrats on getting through a clean draft this year Tom! :thumbu:

The big day has finally arrived, so let’s get this party started!
Unfortunately, I do have to go to work today, so I will be watching the action on tape delay. That means our first pool update won’t be until tomorrow, sadly.

Was upset to see Cossa gamble didn’t work out, but I was between him and blomqvist, so it doesn’t look like it would of worked out there either lmao

I’m with Ferraro on this one. There’s no way that Ivan can be his middle name as well. That would just be silly.
