This was one of the Rangers' best defensive games of the season.
agree but that post wasWhat’s the team’s record since Trouba’s media statement. Hasn’t felt like it but the team has been slowly climbing the standings. Tied for second in the Metro. Tied for fourth in the Conference. I think Gallant is safe for the season.
OK, I'll see you next GDTThe complaints were nonstop about anything and everything as per usual whether deserved or not. Go back and read some of the nonsense. The PP was bad I get it, but the game itself was evenly played and the compete was there. It just wasn't a pretty game to watch. It also has a lot to do with the opposition which is just lost on so many. Dallas hasn't allowed more than 2 goals in a game in a couple of weeks and these are the games that they play. You would think that people who pretend to watch and know hockey would kind of understand that this may have something to do with the lack of scoring. They are 2nd in the league on the PK and 2nd overall GA/GP but it's just the "we can't score tonight we suck" same old bullshit. Good lesson to stay away from the GDT's actually.
I will complain about Blais forever. Not even sorry. The complaints were nonstop about anything and everything as per usual whether deserved or not. Go back and read some of the nonsense. You ain't kidding. If we had lost in that manner there would be 40 pages in the PGT about how they need to blow things up. Dallas is a good team but shit happens in the NHL.If Shesty had let in that tying goal this board would have come UNGLUED lol
I will say though - Oettinger learned a lesson at the end of regulation. He had a real chance to smother that puck for a whistler but elected to poke it back out in the play for some reason.
That said, he's still a great goalie IMO.
who you got lined up to replace himBoy I really do hope we're still on course to firing Gallant here. Though it feels we could be in some danger now.
Gauthier: “Did we win?”
Ramsay: “Yes Gaut, you won. You won the game of life.”
Now that is legit complaint.I will complain about Blais forever. Not even sorry.

Sorry I forgot to add awho you got lined up to replace him

Another streak goesDallas was 16-0 going into the 3rd with a lead lmao can’t make it up
Exactly. We sometimes forget the other teams get paid too and Dallas is a very good and balanced team. That was a great win.I thought we played incredibly hard. A couple of defensive gaffes and got burned by one but - Dallas ain't no joke and top teams will do that to you.
I think my neighbors heard me on our goals...from 3 streets over.
I'm really not kidding when I said I'd rather see Hajek at forward than him.Blais has reached a point where he’s actively a detriment but we can’t get rid of him because we have 10 healthy NHL bodies. Hajek would be proud

also, karlsson has free rein on a bad team. fox is on a good team with much less margin for error.I see Karlsson running with it as of now. Hopefully they realize there's more to defense... than offense.....
Karlsson’s team has already been eliminated from the playoffs, haven’t they?I think the only way he doesn't win it (assuming he doesn't miss any time and keeps playing this well) is if Karlsson has a 100 point season.
contrary to popular belief, i think the team defense has been very good. this team never gets blown out. This was one of the Rangers' best defensive games of the season.
You have a better chance of winning the lottery than Gallant has to be fired. He is going nowhere.Boy I really do hope we're still on course to firing Gallant here. Though it feels we could be in some danger now.
Kreider-Trocheck-Vesey was a great line.Laf played the amount of minutes he should be playing. And MSG didn't split in half and demons didn't spew from the cracks and we're all still here. And the Rangers won. Perhaps Gallant should keep doing that. Keep Laf and Kakko with Zibanejad. Put Chytil with Panarin. Keep the kids in the top 6 permanently.
