I don't know did we? Did we get outplayed? Or was it a hard fought game against a top team? One bad line change was the difference in this game before the last seconds. You would think we were getting dominated and were down 5-0. Sometimes games aren't Picassos, especially against a team that is 2nd in the league in GA and a goalie that is red hot. It was insufferable.

I was just saying in general. It was insufferable tonight even for this group of incessant whiners. You would think we were a bottom feeder team that was losing 5-0. It's like some have no clue about what happens in a marathon NHL regular season.

I would just ignore it. Yeah it can get negative in the GDT, but when games turn like they did tonight, it’s extra special. I’ve learned to just have fun and just hop over the negative stuff. Everyone has a right to criticize this team. Honestly, if they lost this game, probably wouldn’t be posting much tonight in here. But after that win I cannot go to sleep now. That’s how pumped I am. Starting to come down now…. lol.

What’s the team’s record since Trouba’s media statement. Hasn’t felt like it but the team has been slowly climbing the standings. Tied for second in the Metro. Tied for fourth in the Conference. I think Gallant is safe for the season.

Dallas is a really good team. Great defense, a top 5 goalie and a good power play will take them deep into the Western Conference playoffs. And we just snatched a win from them.

The Trouba helmet throw was meme worthy but the team has gotten back to its identity from last year. 13-2-2 since then, closer to 1st in the Metro than the cut line. They are showing an excellent commitment to defending this year as well. Hopefully they can survive any further injuries that may arise until the deadline, but Drury better get the phones ready.

I will say though - Oettinger learned a lesson at the end of regulation. He had a real chance to smother that puck for a whistler but elected to poke it back out in the play for some reason.

That said, he's still a great goalie IMO.

I was in Fiji & the Cooks for 3 weeks. Stunning scenery, but so sad when you encounter all the locals living in squalor.

I am not there, yet I have been there, and places like it, and agree, the locals have it tough, I do my best to tip the individuals in US dollars as they are the ones who need and deserve it most, imo

All the same I was joking based on past jokes, and now I feel kind of bad about it,

So back the game, I thought it was pretty boring until the last minutes, yet they found a way to win, something all team need to do if they are going to be good. I am usually pessimistic and will always be, yet the Rangers are not a bad team when they play with a purpose, we'll see. I don't think they need to add anything, I think the best thing they could add would be some of their own players playing with an attitude.

For me it's all about I'd rather watch the game uninterrupted than post during. Especially on the phone (I HATE typing on the phone), and not about to drag a laptop out from the other room...

What wasn't true?

The complaints were nonstop about anything and everything as per usual whether deserved or not. Go back and read some of the nonsense. The PP was bad I get it, but the game itself was evenly played and the compete was there. It just wasn't a pretty game to watch. It also has a lot to do with the opposition which is just lost on so many. Dallas hasn't allowed more than 2 goals in a game in a couple of weeks and these are the games that they play. You would think that people who pretend to watch and know hockey would kind of understand that this may have something to do with the lack of scoring. They are 2nd in the league on the PK and 2nd overall GA/GP but it's just the "we can't score tonight we suck" same old bullshit. Good lesson to stay away from the GDT's actually.
