We have now seen Vader go on several buck wild killing sprees in two of the last three films. I get it he is a stone cold killer. Now I wanna see the real inbetween story of what happens to him between ROS and R1. There is a decent story that can be an evil dirty killing story of the empire, Vader and Palpatine slaughtering rebels at will and the rise of the rebellion.

I love Star Wars. I'm just somewhat fed up by Jedi.

I somewhat agree. Not that i am fed up but I think they are in the less is more category along with Boba Fett. Somethings are best left as a mystery. Vader was much more foreboding in thr original series. The best characters to me were the ones in the background. The IG88s, Fett at one point, etc.

As a person that kind of panned Episode 7 I'm still surprised people think Rogue One is better than JJ's loveletter to Episode 4. JJ's love>Gareth's love.

7 was not a love-letter, it was a disgraceful remake. Frankly it's pushing prequel territory...

Very glad that moron isn't directing 8. He pulled the same **** with Star Trek and Wrath of Khan.

Vader never got to his prime. When he was strongest he just slaughtered a bunch of children and lost to Obi-Wan because he was a hothead.

That doesn't make sense. He never got to learn from Palpatine until after ROS. Unless of course you don't think that he could learn anything new from a Sith Lord/the Dark Side of the Force?

So apparently the droid is completely mo-cap, no costume. Very impressed. Looks real. Far cry from I, Robot. Disney pushing some impressive tech with this and their animated stuff.

Loved it. So glad Disney bought the franchise. I was getting tired of redudant comic book movies. Star Wars has an entire universe to explore and infinite stories to tell so I believe it will never get old. As others have said, i want to see more of Vader.
Super Hero movies are getting old but then Star Wars never will? Huh?

Do you even like Star Wars?
I love Star Wars and while I don't agree with Vader having too much screen time (I liked it), I was also happy there were no Jedi.

If you gave me a full movie based on Wedge and Biggs, I would be hella pumped.

If he didn't get fried, he'd probably get so powerful that there would be no need for the Death Star.

It was because Obi-Wan had the high ground.

And then Anakin got cocky and lost because of it. I probably didn't give Kenobi enough credit in my original comment, he executed the whole duel masterfully.

While the high ground comment seems pretty stupid when you watch the movie the first time, it does play well in the fact that Obi-Wan knows Anakin so well that he knows that his main weakness is his pride. He provoked him into doing something stupid (while hoping he wouldn't and would just come back to the light) and it worked.

It might not have been that well executed, but the concept was smart and relevant to the story.

The shows are Star Wars, same creators, and same audience. Wouldn't it make sense some characters would overlap?

I didn't mean that as a negative. I think they've done a good job with TCW characters they've brought in, it just seems kind of TCW heavy at times. I still like the show though.

There's definitely a lot of personal bias in my statement. Star Wars will never get old to me. Damn near every movie based on a comic book has except Batman, whom is one of my favorite superhero's of all time.

That- coupled with the fact that Stars Wars will likely only be releasing one movie per year where as movies based on comics will release multiple movies a year.

Well, we've now seen basically everything except for what he's up to between 3 and Rogue One. Which seems to be mostly basting.

Watching him in his prime at the end of the film though... divine.

That's what I'd love to see. That's about 25 years right there.
