I've avoided Sportsnet the entire playoffs. I can't stand the Leaf bias.. Its bad enough on my Twitter timeline.. every reporter Leafs , Leafs Leafs.

I guess they forgot Florida was the best team in the league in 21-22. They aren't the pushovers of years ago.

I'm starting to think the laffs would've had a better chance against slower Boston.

That was a desperate Leafs team trying to not go down 0-2 at home.

I'm not sure they'll have that same motivation when they arrive in Florida.

That third period is probably the best we'll see Toronto play before they get sent to the golf courses.

It's almost like having your bottom 6 filled with speed and skill is better than filling them with plugs that are good at cross checking.

But what do I know, I'm sure having a Parker Kelly and Austin Watson in that lineup would improve their team.

Teams that have won both games to go up, 2-0, have gone 254-37 -- 87.2 percent.

I called Toronto in 6 over Tampa and I called Panthers in 6 over the Leafs. We shall see.

Not only that, but also not having $8-10 million dollar talent on the top lines taking up all the cap space. Gives a lot of flexibility to have a balanced and deep team at all positions.

Also a reason not to constantly go for the biggest names when the opportunity presents itself (Cat) and to focus on rounding out a strong overall roster. 82 game regular season + at least 20 more playoff and preseason games....being able to roll four lines all year saves a lot of injuries, too.

Seattle is a team full of second line forwards and 2nd pairing Dmen. Lots of depth and no real dropoff top to bottom.
