Well, yes, but they are not saying the refs have favored one team over another.

Penalties are way beyond the regular season. First four games of this series there were 10.25 powerplays per game. Regular season average was 5.78. Refs decided to call a never before seen amount of penalties for seemingly no reason.

Good point. Either way it's getting ridiculous.

The end result will just be a less physical NHL playoffs.
