I think players aren’t used to this, and will be. They’re used to doing whatever they want. That said I wouldn’t be surprised if the refs were going out of their way to make it look bad and call every tiny thing.I'd be happy with literally half the number of penalties in this series.
I think the "call it the same in the playoffs crowd" got their way.
Don’t put your stick in a guys midsection and you don’t risk a guy falling and getting called for it.
That is not his playoffs. He's talented for sure. But great playoff players are rhe guys who score goals to tie games, or take leads.
4 of Matthew's points in this series came in game one, after Toronto already had the lead.
2 more when rhe game was already lost in game 2.
Thats Matthew's in the playoffs. Sorry bud.
If you don’t use the stick to push like a cross check you don’t risk it looking like a cross check. Was clearly interference, by 2 players
Gio was not a penalty, yet it put the Leafs down 2
Marner was not a penalty
This is such a stupid take.Which is why all this whining is hilarious
People kept crying about how they put their whistles away, well this is the result
Penalties are way beyond the regular season. First four games of this series there were 10.25 powerplays per game. Regular season average was 5.78. Refs decided to call a never before seen amount of penalties for seemingly no reason.I'd be happy with literally half the number of penalties in this series.
I think the "call it the same in the playoffs crowd" got their way.
Dubas has a couple more years with the Leads for sure.
If you don’t use the stick to push like a cross check you don’t risk it looking like a cross check.
If you don’t put your stick in a guy’s arm you don’t risk it looking like a hook if he falls.
It was chintzy.Marner had no business with his stick where it was, refs are going to call that every time
This is such a stupid take.
It's akin to saying:
You can either be a billionaire or live off $300 per year.
We have been asking that infractions be called when they happen, but not asking for imaginary calls.
On the goal that was scored tonight, and the posters claim that I quoted, there were few Leaf fans blaming Campbell.Nope. They just blames the leafs. They have been doibg this long before Campbell joined them.
The camera work they are trying on CBC panel is just awful lol
Yes your Honour.More missed calls against Tampa. As a Sens fan youre opinion means nothing cause you actively despise the leafs. I live in Ottawa but am not from there so I can see the game fairly.
If that was true that would be fair, but that isn't what we have seen.Good 1st by the Bolts.
Refs have called each game the same, calling every thing either team does. Neither fan base should complain about refs as long as they call everything Vs both teams like they have
