Even with the bad calls if Toronto doesn't go 0-3 on the PP it could be 3-2 or 3-3. Work out the kinks on the PP and PK and cut out the dumb penalties and they'll likely be fine.

Not that you're wrong but,...Thing you may not realize is that Tavares plays best when we have the opposition hemmed in and he is doing the greasy crease tips.
So, utilizing one of his best skills is parking him in front of the net and forget about that 200 foot game.

How much time this game have we had the Tampa Bay Lightning hemmed into their own zone where we can afford a player to be stationary in the offensive zone?

It seems Tampa watched all of those videos from Boston series. Columbus series. Montreal series. They learned how to take away space and render our star players irrelevant. It's very worrisome.
