Ok effort overall, but we have a couple guys who are shitting the bed everytime they are on the ice and a couple other guys with unfortunate plays at important moments.

Every piece of ice is contested and we aren't winning enough of those battles imo. This is what real playoff hockey is all about.

I don't like what I am seeing. PP has been a real letdown so far, but credit to Vasilevsky for his first period play.

Need an early one to get the boys renenergized and get the crowd back in it.

Good god. We go down for the first time in the series and half the fanbase starts bringing up all the issues of old and trying to apply them to this game, inaccurately I might add. Step away from the ledge people.

The only one I really agree with is Tavares. He's the captain, he's supposed to make a big play, score a big goal, he's been invisible save for faceoffs and a nice pass to Nylander in the first period of game one. He HAS to be BETTER.

The problem you have is believing that Tavares is capable of playing at a higher level when all indications are that he can't anymore.

Not that you're wrong but,...Thing you may not realize is that Tavares plays best when we have the opposition hemmed in and he is doing the greasy crease tips.
So, utilizing one of his best skills is parking him in front of the net and forget about that 200 foot game.

Tampa's playing playoff hockey and the Leafs well.. aren't. Tons of obstruction going on, almost all of it by Tampa. Looks like the Refs have swallowed the whistles barring something egregious. Leafs need to show something in the third.

As much as I respect the decision to come here and into the fire, he doesn't show the passion and sacrifice needed.. He is the 2nd line centre, he needs to produce. It doesn't need to be pretty, but it must be done.

A big hit to set up a goal, winning battles in front, even a fight. Show up and show the others how much you care. If it isn't a goal, it needs.to be an example.

With his contract being so large an anchor, he has to produce.

The Leafs are getting f***ing smoked. Hate to say it, but this series looks like it will be over sooner than later. Same result.

Leafs win one game decisively and people are all behind them. Leafs possibly lose one game and people are jumping off the bandwagon again. I think the Leafs can still come back, but win or lose tonight I don't know why people think that we can't win this series as long as they keep playing well and with heart.
