I thought the last Jets/Ducks games was pretty good but you're right.

Certain games of some series were good, but none of them have been good as a whole other than the Nashville/Chicago one.

That one is about to end early too though. First round has been weird because there has been a lot of entertaining games, but the series are all short.

Well this one isn't over. Jets score

Wild get booed off the ice

lol and people think our fans are impatient. Yeah a blowout sucks but it's 2-2, not the end of the series. If anything a blowout's better than a soul-sucking OT loss, at least in the middle of the series. If it was in Game 7 then it feels like you just gagged or showed no heart like the Caps in '09 or the Ducks last year.

Too late for the Jets to score a goal.

Should have done it when they were only down by one.

They COULD tie it though, wouldn't surprise me.

Wouldn't count on it either.

Yeah, there were some games in some of the other series that were good, and then some others that were really boring. A lot of wild fluctuation in entertainment value per game per series. Best quality of entertainment overall was the Nashville-Chicago, though. Props to both teams for not being lame.

If the Jets can't out Duck the Ducks by the end of this game, the Thrashers/Jets franchise will still have 0 playoff wins to its name.

I hate this geek on the Honda commercial.

Need to DVR these games, so I can fast forward through commercials.

But then I couldn't post on here in real time with everyone else.

Ottawa-Montreal hasn't been bad either. THere is some entertainment in Detroit and Tampa too.

Hell even Flames Canucks has all the nasty bad blood to give some fun. Really you got these trash series like Rags-Pens, and Caps-Isles. THOSE suck

Looks like the Wild were able to stop the bleeding.

That could have rattled their confidence if that game could even more out of hand.

I keep forgetting this.

I'll feel a little bit bad for these Winnipeg fans if they don't win one game.

And you all know I have issues with their fanbase, but I do appreciate their passion. And I do have a heart. ;)

Tie it up Jets.

I want some overtime.

Close one!

Oh **** and that's it. 4-2 Ducks after a close one for Winnipeg.

Pavelec just isn't very good positionally and flops too much, that's why he isn't good.

Very athletic and makes the kinds of saves you won't see from any other goaltender in today's game (other than maybe Quick) his technique just isn't good. And he's just not Marty or Hasek.

I do appreciate his athleticism though.

The Jets' window is barely open yet, but it's going to be wide open for a long time if they don't get dumb like their neighbors in Edmonton and Toronto.

They have (what I think) is far and away the best prospect pool.
If they find a goalie in the next year and make a few low key signings on some veterans/depth players... they're set for a while.

Canadian front offices seem to have an extra level of stupidity at the worst times, though. So it's up to them.

Anyway, I can't feel bad if they sputter out here. They have a lot to look forward to.
