Sure you will.

Don't get me wrong, "let them play" is an extremely stupid idea and I really don't understand why so many fans are onboard with it. I also don't understand why people are crying conspiracy when this shit happens year after years regardless which teams are involved in the games in question. Many fans (inexplicably to me) want the refs to swallow the whistles, the NHL is giving them what they want. If they were more push-back against that things would not be that way.

Tbf there has been pushback, it’s why the NHL loses so many fans each year :dunno:

Avs still have huge advantage.

Fewer games this season. Fewer games over last 3 seasons.
Up 3-2. Have the last home game. Have shown they can win on the road.

Unintentional trip doesn't equal weak call. People can whine all they want but from a ref perspective the Palat trip HAD to be called. It was 4 vs 4 and you can't get away with this 4 vs 4.
Obviously that trip needed to be called. What didn't need to be called was the penalty on Compher making it 4 on 4 in the first place. There's also Vasi being able to take off his own helmet to stop the offensive zone pressure despite that being a textbook delay of game penalty. The hook on Makar's breakaway? These calls and non calls are suspect especially since they were all at the center of the play.

Predict a 4-3 win for Tampa in Game 6.

Tampa knows how to solve Kuemper, and the Avalanche are away in Tampa. I think Stamkos and Kucherov can notch some assists with Palat and some lower-line players getting the goals.

Tampa Bay Lighting are the better team overall, they have everything that is very good or great. They have it all, goaltending, defense and offense. They do everything very very very well.

It would not surprise me, if the Lighting come back and win.

The Avs need their goaltender to be a little better and for Nathan MacKinnon to bring his A game(he has been kind of quiet in the finals), if this happens, they will close it in game 6.

They tried calling everything in the first round (at least in our series) and it felt like an over-correction. I'm not sure you can go all the way in one direction or another.

Mind you, there were some pretty soft calls both ways in this game.

Best game of the series, probably. Big for Tampa. Disappointed at the result, obviously. And worried. But a great game, nonetheless.
Balls on the table, Tampa. Good job.

MacKinnon has a knack for trying to do too much. He starts believing the hype. When it works...hell yes. He's got the skill.
But more often than not you can see him trying to force it.
That's never great.

Paul being tackled from behind on a odd man rush as well. It’s a clear let them play mandate at this point both teams can point to a lot of potential penalties

Tampa will win the cup. They'll thrash Colorado in GM6 and shut down the Avs in GM7. Colorado's chance to win was last night

Sounds like Kuch. It looks ugly quite a few times but then you look and it’s in the net

I honestly think MacKinnon is playing fine. Makar got a puck luck goal and he’s praised. MacKinnon beat Vasy 5 hole and it slid through the crease and he’s a choker.

The puck luck for the Avs has to end somewhere. I swear the next goal they get will rebound off the International Space Station. That said Tampa's got a chance
I get your point but they're also shooting a billion times, they're pushing that "luck" to happen when they generate so many chances.

THANK YOU!! I thought I was the only one. I was telling my wife last night, the Bolts have to catch a break at some point in this series. A goal that shouldn't happen, a slip by a D-man, a bounce. I have not seen so many bounces go one way in a series in a while. It is like the Avs can do no wrong, every pass, shot and shift. Hockey Gods usually even things out. Hoping the next 2 games give the Bolts a bounce or two.

Those things happen when you’re shootings as much as the Avs. They also have a decent amount of grade a chances not go in. It evens out

At least, their coach didn't.
Actually he did

"I didn't love that call, just because I don't think there was any intent there. I don't even think he was checking that guy [Ondrej Palat]. Looked to me like he kind of tripped over his stick. It's a tough one. They got their only power play goal on that one. So that hurt, stung a little bit. But it is what it is. You gotta roll with the punches."

Sort of hard when you are putting out the following quote:

"I thought they called it fine," Bednar said. "I’m sure each coach can go through it and say, ‘That’s a penalty, that’s a penalty.’ But that’s the way it goes. They’re letting us play. O.C. (Logan O’Connor) breaks in all alone on Hedman in overtime and he gets a stick in on his hands. It is what it is, man. You’ve got to fight through it. It’s playoff hockey. Stanley Cup Finals. You’re expected as players to fight through a certain amount of stuff, because it’s the most competitive time of the year.

"The refs aren’t going to call the ticky-tack stuff that puts teams down and gives them the other team an advantage. They’re going to let the players settle the game. That’s the way it should be."

Then the next game say the refs stole it? Yeah, that's credible.
