Last night was how I was afraid the whole series would go. I thought the Avs were the slightly better team but it wasn’t enough to overcome the goaltending talent gap.

Going to be a real challenge to significantly tilt the ice in Tampa. Kuemper’s got to give us a .900+. He’s been good on the even numbered games this series. Maybe that’s his thing.
Do you think there's any chance Francouz will be starting?

Avs look nervous and tentative at times, especially before the 3rd Tampa goal. Kuemper gave another soft goal. Kuemper is the reason this series isn't over.
I expect this to go back to Denver. Amalie will be rocking and the first game coming east is a bitch. The question I have is how much will TB have left in the tank for a Game 7? Will the age differential catch up? Let's face it this has been a very even series

Game 1 - OT
Game 2 - Av Blowout
Game 3 = Bolt Blowout
Game 4 - OT
Game 5 - Bolt 1 goal win on the road

Get McCauley and Sutterland back, they weren’t calling anything in game 4 but at least they were consistent, last night was all over the place.

Is this your first time watching a post game press conference? Pretty standard procedure to give the opposing team credit...
At least those that have been there do. What you don't do is get beat and tell the other team they didn't earn it. That is bush.

I picked Tampa in 7. If it gets that far, Avs may be in trouble.

Cooper the very next day said he said something in the moment out of emotion and amended what was said, the feigned outrage of it is a little too much. He most definitely did not say the Av's did not deserve it, some of you are adding your own narratives and it's easy to see

...to be fair, tonight's officiating was pretty bad...that said, I personally feel that the officiating in the Playoffs in general has been severely substandard...
There were four plays that could’ve been clean breakaways for the Avs. Each won had 2+ missed calls on each.

I’ll agree they’ve been bad and Avs had advantages in other games. But this was so tilted to TB it’s hard to argue.

In 08, Pittsburgh beat Detroit in game 5. Wings were still up 3-2 and it felt inevitable Detroit would win game 6. They did.

Same for 2016. Yes, SJ won. But everyone knew they were delaying the inevitable. Pittsburgh was the better team. Pens won in 6.

Same thing here. TB just delaying the inevitable cup clinching loss on home ice.

Colorado had shaky goaltending and was getting shafted by the officials all night. Yet...they lost by one goal.

Keumper usually allows one softy which actually energizes TB more than anything else. As amazing as Makar and Mac are they seem to be trying to do too much at times. I can’t see TB being able to keep the energy up again.

Missed calls on both sides all game long.

They just need to get shots on Kuemper. Good chance one goes past him.

You've not complained about Paul getting dragged down which is at least as bad as this clip?

Come on, the Avs are getting away with a huge amount of interference when Tampa tries to forcheck, it's not nearly as one sided as you believe.

Eventually you’re bound to get one of these right, but given your track record, I should start making boat parade plans.
