Unintentional trip doesn't equal weak call. People can whine all they want but from a ref perspective the Palat trip HAD to be called. It was 4 vs 4 and you can't get away with this 4 vs 4.

Don't get me wrong, "let them play" is an extremely stupid idea and I really don't understand why so many fans are onboard with it. I also don't understand why people are crying conspiracy when this shit happens year after years regardless which teams are involved in the games in question. Many fans (inexplicably to me) want the refs to swallow the whistles, the NHL is giving them what they want. If they were more push-back against that things would not be that way.

Yep.......and after game 4 Aves cannot complain about a call ( or non call) again until next season.

Lightning got a huge win, under loads of pressure, within a crazy tough enviroment. Everytime Colorado tied game back up, place went into an insane craze ( Kudos crowd!!) Lightning will have to reach deep to find the engery. If Lightning can keep Colorado to 2-3 regulation goals a game, the path is there to pull off the impossible.

Rooting hard for Colorado although I'm not a fan of their style of hockey. It's mostly based on individuals rushing the net with a combination of speed, skill and strength. Tampa seems to pass the puck a lot more to find an opening.
