Avs pretty thoroughly outplayed the Lightning tonight. This was decided by one bad goal.

In saying that I’m not going to be surprised to see this head back to Denver.
Yes. The pace of play was in the Avs' favour, they had more shots, more chances, and more dangerous chances. The difference was nothing got by Vasi except for random bounces, and Kuemper lets in his customary softie per game.

I'd be more concerned as a Tampa fan.

This is pretty standard for Tampa. They’ve been winning plenty of games like this for 3 years straight now. I’d be worried as an Avs fan

Why would we be worried?

Today was by far Tampa's best game and they barely won. I'm not counting out Tampa because they can come back and take the series, but if they do it's because they earned it, not because the Avs choked. Avs have been playing their hearts out and have been the better team (outside of the goaltending duel), if Tampa wins all you can do is tip your hat.

I'm enjoying the run and watching my team play fantastic hockey. I would love for the Avs to win the cup, but i'm not going to be disappointed if they don't.

The way Tampa has been most successful in past years is by slogging the game down, turning it into a grind-fest (and being opportunistic). And even in those types of games, they've generally outchanced or kept the chances even both ways - at the very least, they made it impossible for their opponent to generate extended offensive sequences. The Tampa playbook was to get a lead and really just run the clock, with their opponent having the puck but not being able to do anything with it.

That hasn't been the case this series. They've been getting blitzed.

Praise your own team . Praising the opponent just feels like pity or not sincere. No such thing in life as praise from opponents .

Thought Tampa deserved game 4, the Avs game 5. So pretty much on par where things should be.

DK has kept this series close.

As in the Avs could've pulled away with a 4-0 or 4-1 Cup.
Ahhh yes I definitely agree. It’s unfortunate and I hope to god it doesn’t ruin it. Avs will respond for sure though, have closed every series on the road and if not game 7 will be a banger.
