For the record, I think we have a great shot. Kings are no doubt physically and emotionally spent right now after winning 3 game 7s to get here. They don't get much rest before the SCF and if we come out flying there's no reason we can't take game 1. That would really set the tone for a tough series...where we'd be the rested team and have a shot to really wear them down as we get further along.

The thing to remember is that we also have the fringe that make you cringe. I do my best to just not engage those people. On either side. Every fanbase has embarrassments don't let 'em bother ya.

Good listen. We had the same view of that game 7. Sloppy ass defense and meh goaltending. Not as good as game 5 but they talked about it like it was. That's the media for you. They hyped it up as the greatest series when it was really just games 5 and 6 that were good hockey games, but even then the goaltending was mediocre. Both teams looked sluggish for long stretches and both teams were down to only rotating in 3 lines for a while there. Gotta hope that the physical play they've faced in the Sharks and Ducks, the speed of all three of the teams they've faced and the fact that all took 7 games and a bunch of OTs to get there has taken a toll on the Kings. We'll see what happens!

KK11 was relentless in bashing Quick in their game threads this series, and is now on his bandwagon again. Like Snowblind does with Lundqvist.

If him and Milbury are going for LA, I'd bet NY. There's a reason those two cannot gets jobs in their former GM and coach roles and are forced into broadcasting
