honestly what is the league going to do? give the refs a slap on the wrist? maybe the league just considers all the other little incidentals a wash and this whole thing just goes away...
Happened a few years back in London. The league just issued an apology. There is not much they can do about the results of the game. As far as the official making the mistake there is internal discipline issued. That can be in many forms but the damming part for them is this goes on their record and if they want to move up other leagues are aware of the "mistake ". As fans all we can do is finish are complaining and then move on.

I wonder how egregious an error would have to be to warrant playing out the game/period again, if this is even a possibility? Maybe if it was playoffs?

I don't understand why an apology was necessary? The refs miss calls every game. This one was not reviewable by the league's own rules. Play on.
It was a call based on a goal. Might have/ have not changed the outcome of the game. It was reviewed and that is what the issue is. The reviews are there to ensure the correct results. If that was messed up that is the issue.
Penalties and suspensions can be reviewed and changed later but a goal call can't be altered. The reviews have to be correct.

So the apology was to the Soo fans, not the London fans.
Ha ha, if the call is determined to be correct then it was the right call, good goal no offside then no apology required because the play was as called. If it was determined to be offside and goal should not have counted then then the league will issue a general apology ( not directed at either team) that their official got the call wrong and they will do better the next time and we all just groan and move on.

League is also reviewing the too many men goal against Kingston. That 100% was too many men.

Jeez, they don’t like us winning eh? Lol

Didn't the trip call on Virgilio where he literally didn't touch his opponent lead to a goal? Something like that is equally impactful and I don't see any apologies. Move on.

Probably won't hear until Thursday - I think they usually announce on the team's next gameday, which is Thursday for the Knights.

U18 2nd round selection Noah Tegelaar (G) of the Blind River Beavers named one of the 3 stars of the week for the NOJHL.

Noah has played the lion's share of their games and has the league's best GAA (2.00) and tied for the best SAV% (.927). He was in our camp in September. He is listed as 6'4" 170lbs. Who knows, might have something there. Same birth year as Miller (2006 born).

S. Boulton is not an OHL calibre player. How he has 2 points this year is beyond me, as he has zero interest in playing the puck. He will willingly give the puck away to you just so he can hit you. Now our captain is injured as a result. Boulton will be the one suspended, but it should really be Hunter facing discipline for bringing him in to begin with. This was 100% predictable.
This was predictable, can the younger version play, seems like a bit of a rat, not as tough?

Kitchener got a second and third round pick from Kingston for Roman Schmidt. Highly doubtful they would’ve shipped him to the Soo, but he would’ve been the d needed.

They’re some rumblings Kitchener is not completely off the soft sell option.

That makes no sense at all, as they have established themselves as the best team in the O nearing the halfway mark.

The East is very weak and the Greyhounds weren't even expected to be in second, but London and Saginaw have a lot more warts than expected. This is a really good year to go for it.

Yea I agree. Just saying what some whispers are around here. Bare draft stock and hesitance to move Romano limits the ability for a difference maker. They and the city really want the mem cup in 2027. MM usually makes a deal over the break so we will see one way or another
