as a finn myself, i'm very excited to see what Karki brings to the table.
with our large finnish community and the success of the finnish hockey program in recent years i'm surprised we don't see more finnish imports in houndtown.

For forwards, no Montroy, Good, Vader.
Pregame show Gerry asked Dean who has taken a step. Dean singled out 5; Allard, Cloutier, Mignosa, Brown, Gibson.
Fourth line Fantino - Brown - Kostov.
3rd pair Toms - Virgilio.

We said the same thing when saginaw was in town. Maybe slow starts for the Hounds are a thing of the past.
One thing I can't get used to is 2 ice cleanings in a period. Loses flow of the game
and possibly the 2nd suspension of the year... what a disastrous first game for Flint.
Every player with a point except Carlisle and Martin. Nice to see everyone off to such a good start.
Love to see the balanced scoring in an butt-whoopin' of a game.
Flint played like a Junior B team throwing a temper tantrum the entire game, managed as many major penalties as they did goals tonight

And both Carlisle and Martin looked great as well even without a point.
That was a masterpiece
Was just about to write that. Martin made a number of high skill plays and Carlisle fantastic.

Amazing first game. Hayes and Martin are super impressive for 16. As a group, the returning players look bigger, faster and stronger. Not to mention absolutely relentless on the puck. Let's hope for a repeat performance tonight.

Just watched the replay on the chl app. Man we have a terrible feed. Stick with the one camera. it's so hard to focus when they switch cameras every time the puck goes down the ice.
