has there been any deal like that? I think Saginaw paid a premium to pry him from there.. Brantford was not shopping him. The deal was “too good to pass”

Why save the 1 2nd pick we have ? lol. You think Raftis kept one singular 2024 2nd round pick just to have one player picked in the first four rounds of the draft?

Yeah I think by the end of the year the Hounds have at least two 07s to play with Martin.

I think there’s no way Hayes plays on the 3rd line. Clouitier will move to the off wing on the 2nd line and dintino to the 3rd line. Brown will likely be on the bench as the 23rd forward and 4th line will be dezote martin and Fantino. Brown is just too soft and shys away from contact. He panics when people come at him. He’s got skill but still playing like a scared boy playing with men. He’s not cut out for the bottom 6 and not ready for the top 6.

Hounds didn’t really need to add D in my opinion. Our top 4 will eat the important minutes annd maybe the best top 4 in the league and our bottom 3 d guys are all serviceable.

And ya I still think they are shopping Brown as well. I would think a bottom feeder would take a chance on him with his high upside for a graduating veteran. I imagine Brown will be a good player when he’s 19 and gained some strength and confidence

They were undoubtedly the top 2 in the league in my opinion. They probably still are. That's why Raftis prioritized forwards.

Sudbury is the one team lacking a top 10 defenseman of that group, but they are 6 deep, so I generally agree.
