I will say though that this MultiVersus is getting the most PS5 play time I have had since I purchased a PS5. Otherwise it'd just be sitting downstairs unused.

The music function for the PS5 seems to be the biggest benefit for me. I'm sure you could do it on an Xbox Series too but you couldn't do that on a PS4, just blare Spotify while playing games. The way it seamless integrates with the PS5 button menu is great too. Biggest compliment I have about the PS5 so far.

I've been playing Tony Hawk 1+2 which has a great soundtrack, but it gets tiring to listen to the same songs over and over again.

I'm not usually a supporter of video games crossing over to the TV/Movie medium. That being said Horizon is a world that could carry over to a tv show really well.

Just noticed Inscryption is coming out on PS at the end of the month. One of the best games of last year.

Also has a notice on it that it "requires" vibration function and trigger effects which isn't a thing I've seen before.

Interesting announcement, since this was already on PS Now for years before the ps plus rebrand. It's not even like they took it off to re-release it as a native port. It's still streaming only.

Anybody playing Soul Hackers 2? Guess it's not a PS exclusive, but didn't seem to warrant its own thread and I just defaulted to here because I don't have an Xbox.

I'm really enjoying it so far. It's what you'd expect from Atlus, and slightly stripped down in terms of mechanics compared to SMT and Persona, but I am playing it on Hard despite having played a number of the various RPGs and it's been an enjoyable challenge. I think they do a good job of weighting different attacks and MP costs, and the lack of any way to get additional turns ends up forcing different strategies. The level design is pretty ho hum as a lot of the reviews point out, but it's a true dungeon crawler that's so far more focused on the combat, and I find the overall loop enjoyable. The story is solid so far, and the characters are all pretty likeable. I especially like not having a silent protagonist for once.

Overall, you can tell it's on the lower budget end, but I wouldn't hesitate in pulling the trigger if you like Persona and/or SMT.

What? For a State of Play it was fantastic. It was no Showcase which hasn't been shown this year yet but hopefully we get one. A lot of rumors out there right there from Silent Hill, MGS remake and more.

The God of War stuff was cool but at this point, I just want to play the game lol. Stop with the little trailers.

I'm glad because I genuinely hate the Nioh games so I need to see how similar that one is. Almost definitely will be very similar.

Credit to team ninja for having demos (although they're always timed demos)

Edit: ....aaaand finding demos is still a nightmare on the ps store. Thought they would have sorted that out after however many years of not being able to find demos and betas on PS4.
