Sony PS5 2

The price to upgrade from essential to extra is based on the time remaining on the subscription if I get this right. The upgrade upgrade could be worth it in the last few months of a subscription if that's the case.

It was $54 Cdn plus tax to upgrade to PS Plus extra for ~14 months. I had $100 sitting in my PSN account so I went through with it.

Cost me $40 CAD after tax to upgrade to Premium from Essential for 190 days, so I figured I’d try it out. The game library looks pretty good, but I’m not sure the Classics Catalogue and Game Trials will be enough to justify $140 yearly when it comes time to renew. I’ll definitely be staying in the Extra tier though for the Game Catalogue.

I'm thinking about this too, probably will get it too, it's 15 bucks more expensive to get it from memory express vs amazon, but it includes a heatsink and I don't have to wait. It's worth it to me.
Installed. Not only did it add 1TB of space, but my PS5 now runs 4k @240hz. A++ would recommend.

Super Stardust portable cracks me up.10 years later they put the PSP version of a PS3 game that already has a PS4 port, that's ALSO already on PSPlus Premium. What's the point?

You know rumor has it Sony is gonna announce 240 fps support and Valorant will be the first game to have it.

What are the games worth getting on the PS5 console? I finally snagged one but seeing as it doesn't come with any games I'm wondering what to buy

What you looking for? Like, high end AAA experiences? Probably Horizon or Miles Morales. Taking games to the next level through innovation? Returnal or Ratchet and Clank. But, honestly, play what you think you'd enjoy. All these games have serious positives and negatives for a variety of reasons.

Ironically even though they're cross gen, the only true next gen experience I've had (other than ratchet and clank) is Guardians of the Galaxy and Final Fantasy 7 integrade. The PS5 versions are just on another level.

As others have said, there's very little new out there, for both newer platforms, that can't be played on the older ones. I would recommend Cyberpunk though, it's pretty fun now.

Stray came out today and I want to give it a try, but it's 30 bucks...so I decided to get a month of Premium at 18 bucks to try it along with Control, Returnal, and the remade Demon's Souls out

This is actually a problem for physical owners (me) too. I encountered many issues with this this game. For example the free ps5 upgrade that eventually came to the ps plus version of the game, I can't get because I got the physical PS4 to PS5 upgrade and for some reason it doesn't register.

This game has a million issues like this. This one is glaring though because you can't even download the game. I'm not stressed because I've played this game to death.

OMG! It was well worth the money. I hadn't been playing with my PS5 much until I got that, now I'm hooked on it again. Good selection of anime games too which is nice because they're usually fairly expensive.

I was gonna buy yakuza and tony. Glad I waited. Would’ve bought little nightmares but I already played it through PSNow

Wow! That's an incredible month!

I haven't played Tony Hawk since N64. I loved that game(s), but I don't know if I would want to pay for it. That makes for a perfect free game.

I've almost bought Little Nightmares like 10 times, but for whatever reason didn't pull the trigger. That also makes for a perfect free game.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Yakuza games, but I've never played a JRPG (unless FromSoft counts) and kind of think I might hate it. Still want to give it a try, though, so that too makes for a perfect free game.

I bought the Tony Hawk Remasters when they first came out. If you liked the originals you will absolutely love both the remasters. The only issue is I believe some of the songs from those iconic soundtracks are missing. It's crazy how timeless that gameplay is though. I jumped right in and was pulling off the same moves I used in the originals decades ago right off the bat.

Digimon Survive is out now.
Watched a bit of gameplay and it looks good. The only complaint I am really seeing is the amount of dialogue at the beginning of the game.

Elden Ring has been out for like five months now and Sony still hasn't put it sale once for us digital customers, even though the disc has been dropped to 50 a few times. Yea, I know, even when a sale does happen it'll be for only 10 dollars off, it's still annoying and highlights ridiculous policy regarding digital sales in general. To my knowledge, they still don't sell those cards that have digital games on them in stores like Nintendo and Microsoft do, they feel the need to control the price at all times or something.

That was the draw back in my experience with the the Cyber Sleuth games, so it is to be expected. I am a little tapped out from JRPGs at the moment after platinuming both Digimon Cyber Sleuths, FF8, FF13, and SAO Fatal Bullet over the last year. So I will probably wait a bit for this one.
