I get them wanting to build some hype for GoW, but nothing's stopping them from providing it as a free game in addition to the 3 monthly games. For PS5 owners, GoW is already included in the PS+ collection. So including it as a monthly game is adding literally nothing.

Not everyone has a PS5.

Oh, I didn't know that. Why don't people just go get one? :razz:

Like I said, they could give it away in addition to the 3 monthly games so PS4 users can get it. But I'm paying for PS+ and one of the perks of PS+ is getting 3 free games a month. This month, I'm only getting 2......well actually I won't be getting any because I have zero interest in the other 2.

Reasonable enough, but I still don't have a PS5 and I've not played this God of War. I'm happy.

Hold up, don't tell me that RE4 is going to be a first person resident evil, that can't be right.

It's hard to tell because it was just a teaser but the psvr2 announcement has me worried.

I love the graphics and visual style of no man's sky, they really need to make an actual game out of it eventually.

Hope there's a half life alyx announcement.

Spiderman Coming to PC. I know I've said it a million times but they really need to make it available as an actual game and not DLC on PS5

Roller dome trailer looked really good, which means it will get a day 1 gamepass deal, get rushed out to meet that deadline and suck.

SF6 got good graphics. Comments are kind of hating though saying it looks like Jump Force

Oh man FF16 is gonna be good. It's so much more classy than FF15. Finally a guy that's not obsessed with characters wearing leather and like 7 belts and bracelets. Creative Business Unit III making a banger.

Stray was the one that caught my eye as well. Don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that the most interesting game for me is a cat wondering around a city :laugh:

I think I heard it's going to be released on PS+ Extra tier as well. Not quite the same level of games Gamepass gets, but still cool. Probably wouldn't buy it for full price of a regular game, but will definitely give it a try now.

Until PS5 it used to only be 2 games a month. PS Plus in my eyes has been pretty weak this year. Now, God of War is amazing and I already own it (plus have the PS Plus collection). Last year we got some really strong AAA titles like Control and FF7 re-make.

Strong showcase today for 3rd parties and actually lived up to expectations. Will Final Fantasy XVI and Street Fighter 6 be console exclusive. I know its believe Sony has FF tied up with at least a short term console exclusive, and Street Fighter 5 was. Unfortunately, most of the big stuff is 12 months away.

Edit: Seeing Street Fighter 6 will be on the X-box series consoles, but for some weird reason will be on PS4 but not X-box one.

The original was good so I don't see why the remaster wouldn't be. The mainline SMT games vary greatly from their Persona offshoot by not having the social aspect of the game, it's definitely much more straightforward in the gameplay.

That state of play was a step up from previous events but still nothing that interesting aside from RE4 (which we didn't see much of) and Final Fantasy. I'm sure Sony will have another showcase over the summer where we will see stuff like God of War, Last of Us Remake, Returnal & Sackboy PC ports, etc.

Last of Us is becoming Skyrim or GTA 5 :laugh:

PlayStation plus premium is live. The ps5 games are a big addition. Ape Escape 2 is still completely broken on ps5, lol. But overall a decent selection. Id like to see how it's updated though.

The new service launched today. Like that the Mafia de trilogy is on it. Couple other games looked pretty cool. Overall not bad for day one imo. Hopefully they get more day one releases like how fall guys was

Some of them, like Death Stranding, I expect to give up on quickly, but have been wanting to give them a try.

I thought we might get the Dark Souls trilogy. Dark Souls 3 was on my wish list on the Playstation store and it went on a pretty heavy discount the other day. Thought they might be trying to get a few more sales before putting it on PS+, but I guess not.

Playing ghost of tshushima on ps plus. I'm glad I didnt bother with the upgrade to ps5. It looks identical to the ps5 60 fps patch.

Yeah it’s my favorite. I just wish the buttons were like the ps4. Eventually the buttons on the dualsense will wear out and be “mushy”
