Grats guys!! I still can't believe i got one too....have a wait a little longer for the delivery but damn I thought it would be impossible with bots snagging them all up.

Felt the exact same way when it was reported that Zherdev left his Russian team and was on his way to Columbus, "bulllllllshit", I thought lol...sure enough, kid was in the lineup 24 hours later and I saw him live with my own eyes, no imposter lol

Back to PS5, I read that the new CoD uses the haptic feedback to differentiate between the guns, which sounds neat, as does the Spiderman stuff I read.
 
My boss spent about 3 hours at work today trying to grab a ps5 (or multiple if he could) so he could flip it and gouge someone before Christmas. Refused to consider any argument that is was a greasy thing to do, especially for a guy with a 6 figure salary. Was happy to see him fail at every attempt.

Lol, Just one? I don't make six figures and that hardly seems worth the time to me.

I know! He would have made more just for the normal days work of hanging out and playing crib with the rest of us than any market on a resale. Just let the consoles go to the people who will actually appreciate them.

I haven’t tried Astros playroom, but in Sackboy the controller is amazing. The feedback through vibrations and the triggers definitely makes it feel very “next gen”.

Another amazing thing about this console is the download speeds. I have GB internet hardwired into the system and an average game(roughly 30-40 GB) would take about 45 minutes on my PS4. I downloaded NHL, Fall Guys, Tony Hawk Remastered, Sackboy, and Bloodbourne in under an hour.

Sackboy looks and plays great. I’m excited to check out the new CoD to see how it looks and runs.

I got to the point where I needed to enter my CVC and hit "place order" and it would give up then, dropping me back to my cart, allowing me to do the same song & dance multiple times. After ~30 minutes, gave up. Congrats to those who landed one!

COD is pretty wild with the triggers. I didn’t even know that was a thing.

I can only wish of them drop and he takes a loss on shipping or something. Good he didn't get one.
 
Just FYI for any multiconsole owners that prefer the Xbox (or Elite or Elite 2) controller, the Brooks adapters for the PS4 do work 100% with the PS5 as well. They're the best adapters on the market IMO, originally designed and tailored for fighting games, so basically zero latency.

You do have to adjust stick sensitivity a bit, because PS4/5 sticks and Xbox sticks take input a touch differently, but combined with the Xbox Elite controllers acceleration curve customization, you can make them feel perfect.

Personally, I can't play shooters on PS4 without my hair triggers and back-paddles for crouch/slide and jump/mantle.

For sure, but the haptic feedback just provides a whole new experience. Just unreal. I can't wait to see how COD plays with it

Another thought I had while playing games all last night: man this console is so quiet. Big change from the PS4 pro which was loud af. Even in a completely silent room you can hardly hear this one running and that's with me trying to hear it lol.

My wife just noticed it sitting in the cabinet. Hates the way it looks. Can’t say I blame her. Why not just make it black?
 
how are the controls? my friend says it doesn't click like a mouse like previous consoles. he says it feels like you're pressing on a spring?
