I can’t believe Spider-Man Miles Morales is a game that exists in my lifetime. I’m not a super hero fan at all really. I don’t read comics, I don’t watch the movies, and I’ve never played the game before. I heard the PS4 game was great, but superhero games are just not my cup of tea. MM came with the bundle I ordered from GameStop so I decided to give it a go just to play something truly next gen. Good lord. This game is incredible. I’ll never touch the fast travel system because swinging around the city is the most fun part of the game. Combat is pretty fun too with all of the gadgets and dodging. The graphics are ridiculous and I feel like a total badass when I play. If you’re really into superheroes you’ll probably love it even more than I do. Can’t say enough about how incredible this game is. Just wish it wasn’t so short. I could play 100 hours of this no doubt.

I mean just get the Spiderman game then? It's basically the exact same game just longer.

I've had mine going for about an hour and I don't hear it at all. I have to literally get right up on it to hear anything coming from it.

Mine is pretty quiet but then randomly it will spin up and sound like the system is about to take off, and then go back to being quiet. That happens like once every 30 minutes or so.

Buddy got a PS5 with the Pulse headset. He was rocking an old cheap Turtle Beach set before that (x4?).

The mic sounds SIGNIFICANTLY worse than his cheapie Turtle Beaches, at least in COD. Now COD isn't known for its great chat audio and it probably sounds better in a PS Party, but something to think about. He tried plugging it into the controller too as some reviews said that helps. It changed it a bit, but I thought it sounded worse that way.

Just a heads up for those that are looking to play COD, my system completely froze and shut off while I was playing zombies. I looked into it a bit more and saw there were others that had the same issue online. Since then, the system has been perfectly fine and hasn't had any issues with any other game. I'll be waiting for an update before trying COD again. That scared the **** out of me.

Apparently COD has been crashing the series x as well, so I'm hopeful it's just the game on my end. If it happens with another game I'll probably play it safe and return the system.

Crashed playing Spider-Man Miles Morales this morning. I noticed I was getting weird audio bugs where it was clear some characters were talking, but there was no audio about ten minutes before the crash. It’s a little uncomfortable playing games right now with how delicate this system seems to be.

A lot of complaints in this thread. I managed to snag one when Walmart released a batch last week. It’s supposed to ship in about a week. Should I be returning it/selling it and riding out my for pro for awhile? Honest question.

Being in the lobby for 6v6 in EASHL for NHL 21 would make my PS4 Pro sound like a jet engine. I don't even hear the f***ing PS5 at all.

The difference in graphics and performance of Ghosts of Tsushima between a launch version PS4 and the PS5 is incredible. Like, it already looked fantastic on PS4, but the PS5 takes it to a new level. Makes me kinda wish I had bought a Pro a few years ago.

As someone who hates the Dual Shock 4, I was instantly amazed at how good the DualSense feels in my hands. The DS4 was incredibly uncomfortable due to its shape, but this one feels incredible in my hands (my hands are small, for the record). I haven't even used it yet (only held it) and I can tell this is likely going to be my favourite controller ever. The feel of the triggers is massively improved too.

I still have to see what all the hype is about with the new features, but even without them this controller would be great.

It really is incredible. I played Astro's Playroom for a bit to see what people were talking about, and it really shows the potential that the controller has. We'll just have to see how many devs actually make use of it.

I'm also getting an Xbox but if developers implement the haptic feedback well on 3rd party games, I will never get one on Xbox because the Dualsense is such a game changer.

Finished the Spiderman story and got some extended play time with other games over the weekend. System didn't crash once or have any bugs outside of that one on COD.

Side note for those looking to get one still (US only from what I can tell. Might be similar for CAN)

Amazon: Random drops. Expects to happen randomly over the next week
Playstation Direct: They did a surprise one this morning. I highly suggest you download a refresh page macro and have you just refresh every 30 seconds. I got in the que and had 1 min left before it was sold out. There is talk they plan to do it daily but not confirmed.
BestBuy: Drops on Sunday No definite time but my guess is similar to launch day which saw them drop it every hour starting at 9:00 AM EST ish. Drops happened 3 times.
Walmart: Nov 25th at 7:00PM est. That will be a shitshow since its only 1 time.
Gamestop: In-stores only on Black Friday.
