I'm not here to disagree he's no defensive d, and I enjoyed Charlie's air quotes. But can we keep our stories straight, please? So, he makes Sanheim "better".......by doing what exactly? They take away another thing he's supposed to be good at, and yet still rave about the player.

I enjoy that Charlie wanted to trade Sanheim for Shattenkirk a handful of years ago.
For all the never-ending talk about Provorov with Niskanen or Ellis or whichever top pair player to bring out his best, it'd be nice if Sanheim got half a chance to play with a top pair player. I know what you're going to say: he has amazing chemistry with Risto. And you're right. You're right.

It occurs to me that the best player he's ever been partnered with for any stretch of time is Gudas and, while I liked Gudas and argue he was underrated, that's a pretty bad sign.
Poor Travo's been forced to carry trash on his back for almost his entire career. And yet he still excels and still gets criminally underrated. You literally couldn't possibly ask him to do more, with less, yet he's the one the "fans" want to get rid of.
Meanwhile, golden comrade gets the most desirable usage and best partners, gets paid more than any other D, has shit his pants in 5 of his 6 years, has rumored locker room problems (and possibly more, which I won't share publicly on here), and is still getting his balls polished by the fanbase and media.

I’m with Charlie on the Voracek stuff. It really wasn’t much different than when Nate Thompson lit up Alex (twice) other than the tone taken. Agree or disagree, both were giving objective analysis, and both guys decided they were going to react to it by shitposting back like anybody does on Twitter (including me). Voracek has been searching himself for years on more than one platform, including this one.
However, to get an unsolicited reaction, it’s not what journalists do on purpose, but they’ll gladly take it and take just that little bit they can hold up. It is less so now, but back in the day it would be gold, that’s why the Jim Salisbury-Nick Castallanos stuff blew up.
The main difference is that Voracek is/was, obviously, a better player, but those guys the past few years have spent way to much time being extremely online engaging with negative energy on purpose.
So, Jake, when you read this, don’t worry you already blocked me for something you obviously searched yourself, because you weren’t tagged. Make better use of your energy.
