Anyone else on here play football manager?

Historically too much aha.

Have a game still running on FM14 where have managed:

Sheffield United (Starting in League 1 To multiple Champions leagues)
Denmark (To 1x WC, 1x EC, 1X Confed Cup)
FC Copenhagen (To league and cup every year... and 1x Champs League Semi final)
Blackburn Rovers (Starting in League 2 to 2x Premier League, 1x FA Cup, 1x League Cup and in Champions League Semis last save)
Morocco (2x AFCON, 1x WC Semi-Final)

I *think* it is like 2045 on it... but not been on it in a month or so.

Up until I got FM 20 14 was my favorite. I think the most obscure team Ive played with is Wigan in FM13. Not sure I won the league but I qualified for the Champions League. Ive played it too much too, afraid to look on steam how many hours total I have between all of the versions .

Youth scouting and intake is always the secret for me, especially with teams who are not rich.

Upgrade youth, training facilities, get high quality (18+ in ability and potential judgement) scouts and then just spend budget on scouting worldwide to get the best youth players when they are cheap!

My u-18 team usually has like 60+ players in it as a result

Spurs sacked Stellini.
He should never have been put in that position in the first place. I can only assume that they did it because they wanted to continue with Conte's system, just without Conte. They probably figured that was the best chance for a top 4 finish. Which they shouldn't even be worried about at this point.

I saw this and had to just shake my head.

Yeah, I think top 4 are set now. Will be interesting to see how Liverpool and Tottenham are avoiding finishing 7th. That would be worst case scenario for both teams.

We beat Leicester a few days later. Haven't won since.

They're the better team. Have to accept that. 2nd place isn't so bad.

But Rob Holding doesn't belong in a game like this. He's so bad, he brings the entire team down.

On a positive note, Blades are about to secure promotion. That's something at least.
