You'd pretty much had to even with a win. Tough for Saints. Might have been able to avoid relegation with a win.
If we won every other game but drew with them we’d still finish with more points. Assuming they won out too. That can’t happen anymore. Unless my math is off lol.

What the hell is this game...

Arsenal dominate but just cant get a shot on target to save their lives.

I mean, as a City fan yeh, this is ideal... but hopefully still have a down to the wire title chase either way.
There is a reason Pep let Gabriel Jesus leave. He is not a #9 that can win a league. Watching Arsenal.... he is the reason they lose the title

You are correct.
You would have 91 (75+15+1)
City would have 92 (70 +21+1).

You need a city loss somewhere and to be perfect, basically

I think the problem is Arsenal winning out, id be shocked if they did. Now if they do they will be champions. But that task will be very tough. Cant even beat Saints at home.

I don't think that's fair tbh. He's not a clinical striker, but his link-up play has been a game changer for this team. He's been an absolute difference maker. Makes players around him better.

Arsenal's problem is their defensive issues. Too many miscues. Score 3 goals at home against the 20th place team you should win. 7 goals allowed in the last 3 matches.

Different team without Saliba. Holding's not good enough.

Fair enough. Just seems like he misses a lot of chances. Small sample size though for me.

Forgot about that guy. He is fantastic

Gabriel Jesus has a knack for missing scoring chances, no doubt. But he creates so much and works hard for the team that the positives outweigh the negatives easily, imo. He's more a false 9 type of striker.
Obviously you need others to score, but Martinelli, Saka, and Odegaard all are good for 10+ goals a season.

Saliba really is fantastic. He and Gabriel are the best center back duo in the league, imo.
The team could cope with missing Saliba for a few games if Tomiyasu was fit. But he's also injured. That means Holding has to play and he's not good enough. Not looking forward to Holding against Haaland lol.

Odegaard is my favorite player. Hate to say it as a United fan but he is silky/slick . Pure class

I have been focusing on and off Odegaard since his "miracle kid" label days and man am I happy to see him doing as well as he is nowadays

I don’t watch a lot of international soccer outside of the World Cup but can someone explain to me what a brace is on soccer?

Something else that through me for a loop is that "unplayable" is actually a good thing, as if they're unstoppable, and not a bad thing like "he's so bad he can't play."

This one really confused me.

Ooof a halftime keeper sub.. was it performance driven @Jack Straw or just more of a sympathy substitute ?

Really hope United win... even as a City fan.

never been a City vs United FA Cup final before... ever... somehow.

City have 11 final appearances.
United have 20 final appearances.

Between them have at least 1 appearance per decade since the turn of the 20th century apart from the 1910s...

yet never met.

If include League Cups...

City have 9 final appearances
United have 10 final appearances

ALSO never met.

So in FIFTY combined domestic cup finals have never had City vs United.

City is a wagon. I’m not feeling optimistic. I think they are going to get the treble. Regardless... you are always class. Good luck my friend
